What Happened to Tang Yang and Jiang Shi Yan on You Are My Lover Friend Ending?
When Song Jing, Tang Yang’s ex-boyfriend, came to Yixiu, Jiang Shi Yan was jealous. Tang Yang told Jiang Shi Yan that she never mentioned Song Jing because she felt embarrassed. All the time they were at the university, Song Jing was proactive in contacting her. However, he did it because he wanted to use Tang Yang as a backup girl.
Jiang Shi Yan avenged his girlfriend by filling the conference room where Song Jing and his colleague were working with flowers because he knew that Song Jing was allergic to flowers. As a matter of fact, Jiang Shi Yan and Feng Wei Ran already knew what Song Jing had done to Tang Yang. They just never mentioned it to her.

Wei Chang Qiu told Zhao Mo to take Tang Yang out, and Zhao Mo agreed. But when Zhao Mo turned his head, he showed conflicting emotions.
Xu Shan Shan used to be Zhao Mo’s girlfriend. They met in college. She is a hardworking person and they have many things in common, especially Rabindranath Tagore’s poems. Their relationship is very close and supportive. And without her, Zhao Mo’s life seemed bleak.
Zhao Mo went to see Tang Yang and told him about Xu Shan Shan. Tang Yang was surprised because Zhao Mo knew about the anomalies she found in the loan files. Astonished, Tang Yang started to listen to his hint.

Zhou Mo wanted to kill Wei Chang Qiu because he had rented the warehouse for a year and welded the door. He asked Tang Yang to go to a certain place in a cemetery. It was Xu Shan Shan’s tomb.
Tang Yang and Jiang Shi Yan arrived with Captain Sun and the police officers. Zhao Mo was calm and indifferent to being surrounded by the police. He told Tang Yang that she was so lucky because she had someone to stand by her side and put her first.
Zhao Mo said that a year ago, Xu Shan Shan found anomalies in the loan records. But because President Zhao was Zhao Mo’s uncle, she was reluctant to tell him. Later, the president transferred her to a remote branch office to prevent them from dating.
Zhao Mo regretted that he was too busy with his work becauase when he returned, Xu Shan Shan had already died.
Zhou Mo found Xu Shan Shan’s old cell phone with a message that she never sent. It was about the loan file matter and how she needed his help because she didn’t know what to do.
Then Zhou Mo investigated and found three people who had resigned from Huishang to work for Jiujiang. He then entered Jiujiang to find out about the evil deeds of Wei Chang Qiu. In order to silence Xu Shan Shan, Wei Chang Qiu paid some people to assault her and take pictures of her. They are using these pictures to silence her.
Zhao Mo also admitted that he used her as bait for Wei Chang Qiu. Zhao Mo intentionally withheld the evidence he found. Because Wei Chang Qiu had a lot of money to build a defense for her. Zhao Mo went to such lengths for Wei Chang Qiu so that she would experience what Xu Shan Shan had gone through and pay for it with her life. He didn’t care if it made him a criminal.
On You Are My Lover Lover Friend ending, Zhou Mo turned himself in to the police after handing over the evidence bag. Later, Wei Chang Qiu, Gan Yi Ming, and all the people involved in the case were arrested.
My Two Cent
I wish the story explained more about Zhou Mo’s history when he avenged Xu Shan Shan. I wanted to see the ending of Wei Chang Qiu and Gan Yi Ming. But it all happened too fast. The wedding feels like an addition to the story.
I couldn’t find a justifiable reason for Tang Yang and Jiang Shi Yan to broadcast their wedding video a day after they celebrated it. They are already far away from their family, so letting them see a pre-recorded video while their parents and family were excited about their relationship seemed insincere.
