We’ve watched the premiere, and now this drama is firmly on our April watchlist. The cinematography was breathtaking, and though the sheet mask scenes were a bit of a distraction, they didn’t stop us from committing to see it through to the end.
Back in the summer of 2007, Zhou Shui crossed paths with Dai Da Ji when she barged into her cheating boyfriend’s dorm room. Zhou Shui is an eccentric student, obsessed with cinema and dreaming of becoming a director.
Dai Da Ji, on the other hand, is a determined young woman focused on making it to Beijing without relying on any man. They fell in love and began to build dreams for the future. In their small rental, surrounded by hardship, they still found moments of joy, supporting and cherishing one another.

Breaking the Shadow has been on our watchlist since February. Yet, this Chinese drama was airdropped a few days ago in April 2025, completely caught us off guard. But it doesn’t matter, because we’re still watching this mystery drama with great excitement.
Han Qing, a cop in the Sanhe Criminal Investigation Team, was known for her serious demeanor and focus. Her colleagues nicknamed her “Unhappy”. One day, Han Qing’s colleague, Zhong Wei, disappeared during a mission. It had been almost two months since Han Qing had heard from him.
Anxious and frustrated, Han Qing continues to work on other cases without giving up any clues concerning Zhong Wei. A recent murder case attracts Han Qing’s attention. She suspects that this case may be related to the disappearance of Zhong Wei. Through her hard work, Han Qing is able to track down the real culprit and find out what really happened to Zhong Wei.
By unraveling the connections between the three major cases, the Sanhe Criminal Investigation Team works together to solve the entire case in one fell swoop and catch all of the criminals involved in it.

When we first wrote this article, the drama had changed its international title from Destiny and Saving to Clash of The Titans. It was a smart move, as the original title brought up images of money and banking, which in turn reminded us of the turbulent global economy. This is an Chinese urban drama that all of us were eager to watch in April 2025. Some people may think that the title reminded us of a best seller book and movie, Eat Pray Love, starred Julia Robers and Javier Bardem. But this one has nothing to do with them, obviously.
Eat Run Love is a drama about two young people who found themselves intertwined between love and hate. We were can’t wait to see Zhuang Da Fei’s chemistry with Chen Fei Yu.
Ding Zhi Tong had always focused on her career and never allowed herself the luxury of falling in love after graduation. Yet, her life changed after the campus hunk, Gan Yang, fall I love with her and decided to pursue her. the serious Ding Zhi Tong couldn’t stop herself for drown into Gan Yang’s cheerful personality.
Despite their differing background, she convinced herself to take a chance on love. But as reality set in, their differences and the challenges of adulthood began to weight on over their once-sweet romance.
