What Happened to Fu Yi Xiao and Feng Sui Ge on Fated Hearts Ending?

After he regained his memories, Feng Sui Ge and Fu Yi Xiao gathered their power again. Their target now was Murong Yao and his father, Murong Zhong. With them controlling the court and the Feng battalion, it was difficult to make a move.

But another person had been secretly searching for Feng Sui Ge’s whereabouts and looking for the truth behind the emperor’s death. It was Feng Cheng Yang.

Feng Sui Ge intercepted Shen Wu, and through him, he met Feng Cheng Yang. In truth, Feng Cheng Yang never believed the story that Feng Sui Ge killed their father. He also didn’t believe his brother had died because Feng Sui Ge always told him that if he didn’t see the body, Feng Cheng Yang shouldn’t believe in rumors.

From Feng Sui Ge, Feng Cheng Yang learned that the one who killed the emperor is the Murongs. He also has to accept the hard truth that his mother, Empress Zhuang, was involved.

Feng Sui Ge couldn’t bring himself to say it directly. He only said that he had no proof, but Empress Zhuang was definitely involved. Tears streamed down Feng Cheng Yang’s cheek as he begged his brother to spare his mother’s life. Feng Sui Ge promised him that.

Feng Sui Ge had no choice but to return to the Feng Battalion. He always treated the battalion as his home and the soldiers as his family. His sincerity has long touched the hearts of the soldiers.

They vowed to follow him until the end. Feng Sui Ge also introduced Fu Yi Xiao as the person who saved him and said she was now part of the Feng Battalion family.

When Murong Zhong arrived at the camp, he was greeted by Feng Sui Ge. They fought immediately. Fu Yi Xiao shot Murong Zhong’s wrist and broke his tendon. Feng Sui Ge asked why he killed the emperor and wanted him dead too. For Feng Sui Ge, Murong Zhong was family. He had called him uncle and had always regarded him as his elder.

Murong Zhong said that if he didn’t do it, it would be he and Murong Yao who would be the ones to die. He claimed he had done everything to support the emperor, but when he pleaded for his son, he was rejected.

That’s why he killed Feng Ping Cheng. Later, when he begged Feng Sui Ge, he was turned down as well. Murong Zhong believed that he only did what a father must do: protect his son. He refused to accept that what Murong Yao did was treachery.

Murong Zhao then fought Feng Sui Ge again and secretly drew a knife to stab him. It was Fu Yi Xiao’s arrow that stopped him.

Feng Sui Ge told Murong Zhong that the emperor never intended to harm him or Murong Yao. Murong Zhong realized he had misunderstood the emperor.

Before he died, Murong Zhong told Feng Sui Ge that it was Empress Zhuang who killed the emperor. With this truth, Feng Su Ge led the battalion to Yunjing city to avenge the emperor and punish the Murong family.

After being oppressed by his own mother, Feng Cheng Yang finally revolted. When she refused to hand over the Imperial seal, he issued a decree stripping Murong Yao of his position.

Feng Cheng Yang did it to reclaim the military power and clear the path for Feng Sui Ge to deal with Murong Zhong and Murong Yao without obstacles.

Feng Sui Ge and the rest sneaked into the city. They brought Murong Zhong’s body back home. When Murong Yao returned from the palace, he saw his father’s lifeless body and blamed Feng Sui Ge. They fought bare-handed, and Feng Sui Ge won.

After avenging his father and the fallen soldiers, Feng Sui Ge told Feng Cheng Yang that he planned to go to Jinxiu. He wanted to bring Feng Xi Yang home. Feng Cheng Yang wished to hand over the throne to his brother.

He planned to take his mother to guard the mausoleum and pray for their father. Feng Sui Ge didn’t give him any answer. Instead, he said he understood how difficult it was for Feng Cheng Yang to face his mother, especially after he chose to side with him.

Feng Cheng Yang knew he must put an end to his mother’s obsession. He told her that the Murongs were dead and that he knew she had been involved in the emperor’s death. Empress Dowager Zhuang denied it and tried to shift the blame to the Murongs.

Feng Cheng Yang said that he will atone for her sins. The Empress Dowager Zhuang stared in disbelief when her son said that he would return the throne to Feng Sui Ge and take her to guard the mausoleum.

Before leaving for Jinxiu, Feng Sui Ge ordered Yun Qin to investigate the Storm Alliance raid years ago because he suspected the Zhuang family was behind it.

At Jinxiu, Feng Sui Ge was furious when he learned about Feng Xi Yang’s suffering in the palace. He vowed to kill Xia Jing Shi for wasting her love and kindness.

While Feng Xi Yang meets Feng Sui Ge in a heartfelt reunion, Fu Yi Xiao and Ning Fei meet Xiao Wei Ran in a not-so-heartfelt situation.

Fu Yi Xiao already guessed Xia Jing Shi’s plan for the Qianqiu Festival and reported it to Feng Sui Ge. Coincidentally, Feng Xi Yang was missing from her room. Her maid said that the princess had promised Xia Jing Yan that if she went to see him, she could safely leave with Feng Sui Ge.

If Xia Jing Yan was in danger, then Feng Xi Yang’s life was in danger too. Feng Sui Ge and the others rushed into the palace to save her. However, they were too late. Feng Xi Yang was wounded, and Xia Jing Yang was dead. Feng Sui Ge was furious and swore to kill Xia Jing Shi.

It’s the same with Xia Jing Shi. Both were ready to kill or be killed in their final battle. After a fierce fight, Feng Sui Ge returned the stab that Xia Jing Shi gave to his sister, Feng Xi Yang. Meanwhile, Xiao Wei Ran died in the hands of Fu Yi Xiao and Ning Fei.

Back in Susha, Feng Cheng Yang issued an order for his mother to guard the mausoleum before he gave up the throne for Feng Sui Ge. Empress Dowager Zhuang refused and killed herself inside Shousheng Palace.

The matter with the Storm Alliance was proven to be the Zhuang family’s doing. The grudge of the Storm Alliance elders was settled. Meanwhile, Feng Sui Ge and Fu Yi Xiao worked together to end the war between Susha and Jinxiu.

In the end, the new emperor of Jinxiu wanted to give her the title of the King of Pingling and let her command the Zhennan army, but she refused.

The same with Feng Shui Ge. Because Feng Cheng Yang decided to live in seclusion, the throne was empty. Feng Sui Ge refused it and let Feng Xi Yang take the throne as a ruler while he served as regent. He planned to wait until the mourning period ended before deciding on succession.

If in three years, Feng Xi Yang proves herself and likes her role, he will let her be the empress. Feng Sui Ge also promised Fu Yi Xiao a grand wedding and the greatest bow in the world, the Zhuixia Bow.

But Fu Yi Xiao hoped she would never need the bow. She wanted a peaceful world. The only person she needed to deal with was Feng Sui Ge, and she didn’t need any bow to do that. If he misbehaved, she would use a feather duster…😅

Fu Yi Xiao is such an Asian auntie…😂😂

What Happened to Feng Xi Yang, Xia Jing Shi, and Xia Jing Yan on Fated Hearts Ending?

The Empress Dowager was eager to provoke the war between Susha and Jinxiu. She believed that the only way to make Xia Jing Yan rely on her again was to. Now Xia Jing Yan was close to Feng Xi Yang, and it disrupted her plan.

She tried to kill Feng Xi Yang but ended up losing her men because Xia Jing Yan protected her. So, she turned to Xia Jing Shi. He, of course, agrees to help. That was part of his own plan from the start. Xia Jing Shi wanted to kill Xia Jing Yan on the Qianqiu Festival.

After the cold shoulder treatment from Xia Jing Shi, Feng Xi Yang’s heart turned cold as well. She no longer loved him. She hated him. Feng Xi Yang drew close to Xia Jing Yan, who slowly began to genuinely like her.

For him, Feng Xi Yang was the only one who believed in his ability. She reached out to him when she was desperate. Xia Jing Yan likes the feeling of being needed. He never felt that way because his mother always manipulated him.

Xia Jing Yan warned his mother that Xia Jing Shi was deceiving her and would betray her soon. But the Empress Dowager didn’t believe it. She told Xia Jing Yan that if he wanted to strip Xia Jing Shi of his military power, he could do it after the Qingqiu Festival.

Feng Sui Ge wrote a letter to Feng Xi Yang to inform her that he is still alive and well. Watching her cry over the short message pained Xia Jing Yan’s heart. She decided to leave the palace and return to his brother. Xia Jing Yan stopped her, and they began to argue.

Suddenly, Feng Xi Yang fainted. The physician checked on her pulse and reported that Feng Xi Yang was pregnant. Xia Jing Yan was happy. He wanted to marry her right away and make Feng Xi Yang his empress. But she refused.

Xia Jing Yan was excited about the baby, and he didn’t want Feng Xi Yang to leave Jinxiu. But when she threatened him with her own life and the life of their child, he relented. He told her that he would let her leave Jinxiu after his birthday celebration. Meanwhile, Xia Jing Shi couldn’t wait to bring Fu Yi Xiao back to his side after he dealt with Xia Jing Yan.

Feng Xi Yang met Feng Sui Ge at the Yunlai Inn. She cried endlessly, regretting her foolish mistakes. She felt that everything that had happened was a punishment she deserved.

Feng Sui Ge comforted her, saying that he never blamed her. With him, Feng Xi Yang could do anything she wanted to do, even make mistakes. Because he will always protect her.

But when Feng Sui Ge said that he wanted to bring her back to Susha, Feng Xi Yang hesitated. She then told him that she had given herself to Xia Jing Yan and got pregnant with his child.

Seeing Feng Sui Ge get angry and ready to tear both Xia brothers apart, Feng Xi Yang tried to calm him down. She didn’t want him to fall into more trouble because of her.

Feng Sui Ge said that whatever happened, Feng Xi Yang will always be Feng Sui Ge’s little sister. He assured her that everything would be fine and promised to take her out of the country by dawn tomorrow.

While Feng Sui Ge thought that Feng Xi Yang was resting, she secretly snuck out to fulfil her promise to Xia Jing Yan. The night before his birthday, Xia Jing Yan celebrated it with Feng Xi Yang.

Even though he said harsh things, deep down, he didn’t want her to leave. She was the only one who ever wished him a happy life. Just as she was about to walk away, Xia Jing Shi’s men broke into the hall. Xia Jing Shi revealed his intent to kill Xia Jing Yan.

Feng Xi Yang saw with her own eyes when Xia Jing Yan was stabbed multiple times. Before dying, Xia Jing Yan showed him the dignity of an emperor who would never yield to others. He sneered that Xia Jing Shi would always be remembered as a treacherous person.

But Xia Jing Yan’s pride crumbled down when he saw that Xia Jing Shi turned his blade toward Feng Xi Yang. He begged Xia Jing Shi to spare her life. But the answer he received was a sword plunged into her abdomen.

Xia Jing Shi said that he never intended to kill Feng Xi Yang. Yet she made the mistake of becoming Xia Jing Yan’s woman. Right after that, he stabbed Xia Jing Yan again and ended his life with a single blow.

When Feng Sui Ge found his sister, she was lying alone in a pool of blood. He rushed to save her life while Fu Yi Xiao led the men to chase Xia Jing Shi.

It was ironic that after the emperor had died, the people on the street still wished him good luck and longevity. Xia Jing Yan might be foolish and ruthless. But his feelings were genuine and sincere. I was so sad when he died…😢

The Empress Dowager was shocked when she saw Xia Jing Yan’s body. Only then did she realize that she had been deceived. Xia Jing Shi killed the Empress Dowager with poison. But as he enjoyed her pain, Fu Yi Xiao’s arrow struck him.

To persuade Fu Yi Xiao to return to him, Xia Jing Shi told her everything. All these years, he had been enduring torture and insults from the Empress Dowager and Xia Jing Yan. The poison in his body? It was from the Empress Dowager who wanted to seize the throne.

And now, Xia Jing Shi said that he finally got his revenge. He truly believed that everything he did was righteously and justified. He is the first son of the emperor; he was only taking back what was rightfully his.

He freed the country from a tyrant. And although many innocent people died because of him, it was unavoidable. To walk over a mountain of corpses and seas of blood was the path he chose. He felt no regret for any of it.

And Xia Jing Shi still asked Fu Yi Xiao to understand him…🤯

Meanwhile, the physician managed to save Feng Xi Yang. But she lost the child and would never conceive again.

Xie Jing Shi delayed his return to Pingling because he wanted to kill Feng Sui Ge. He believed that Fu Yi Xiao’s change of personality was due to Feng Sui Ge’s involvement. Meanwhile, Feng Sui Ge is also determined to kill Xia Jing Shi.

The fight between them was unavoidable. They met at the Jinxiu royal ancestral house. Feng Sui Ge fought Xia Jing Shi inside the ancestral hall. While Xiao Wei Ran ambushed Feng Sui Ge’s group outside. Xiao Wei Ran died at the hands of Fu Yi Xiao and Ning Fei.

Feng Sui Ge almost died from Xia Jing Shi’s arrow. However, Fu Yi Xiao arrived in time and shot Xia Jing Shi’s hand. Feng Sui Ge stabbed Xia Jing Shi right at the same spot where he stabbed Feng Xi Yang. Xia Jing Shi couldn’t believe that Fu Yi Xiao would really kill him. She coldly said that she merely returned the arrow that he once used on her.

Xia Jing Shi lost a lot of blood. But he still said that the thing he regretted the most was shooting Fu Yi Xiao. He thought that seizing the throne was the most important thing for him. But when he saw her fall off the cliff, he realized that she was the one who mattered. After saying that, Xia Jing Shi died.

After the Empress Dowager, Xia Jing Yan, and Xia Jing Shi died, Jinxiu fell into chaos. A weak prince ascended the throne. It should be a perfect chance for Feng Sui Ge to attack Jinxiu. Instead, he agreed to a ten-year truce so the people of both countries could recover.

What Happened to Murong Yao on Fated Hearts Ending?

Murong Yao and his father controlled the court and the Feng battalion. Anyone who refused to yield to them was killed. But Murong Yao’s life was far more than peaceful. He was riddled with guilt, and nightmares haunted him.

He always wakes up in a sweat and with palpitations. After learning that Feng Sui Ge is still alive, Murong Yao spared no effort to chase him. Yet, it was he who kept losing to Feng Sui Ge.

While Murong Yao dealt with Feng Sui Ge, Murong Zhong decided to take over the Feng battalion. It’s the only military power that Feng Sui Ge could control. However, he wasn’t fast enough, because when he arrived at the military camp, Feng Sui Ge had already taken command of the soldiers.

Murong Zhong told Feng Sui Ge that he was only trying to protect Murong Yao. Because of Murong Yao’s treachery, the emperor and Feng Sui Ge refused Murong Zhong’s plea to spare his only son.

Blinded by anger, Murong Zhong tried to stab Feng Sui Ge, but Fu Yi Xiao’s arrow stopped him. Before he died, Feng Sui Ge told Murong Zhong that the emperor never intended to hurt him and Murong Yao.

Only then did Murong Zhong realize that he had misunderstood the emperor. To make amends, just before his last breath, Murong Zhong told Feng Sui Ge that the one who killed the emperor is Empress Zhuang.

In the capital, Murong Yao grew restless. A decree was delivered to his mansion stating that he was stripped of his position as the commander of the Imperial Guard. Murong Yao confronted the Empress Dowager, who told him it was temporary.

Murong Yao’s main task now was to kill Feng Sui Ge. Neither of them knew that Murong Zhong was already dead. His body had been brought to the Murong residence.

When Murong Yao returned home, the mansion had been exterminated and was surrounded by Feng soldiers. He was stunned to see bodies scattered everywhere. Everyone was dead, including two of his personal bodyguards.

Inside the hall, he saw Murong Zhong’s lifeless body. Only then regret washed over him. Murong Yao blamed Feng Sui Ge for his father’s death. But Feng Sui Ge reminded him that he also did not spare the emperor and the innocent soldiers.

Murong Yao tried to play the victim, saying he had felt awful too when he saw Feng Sui Ge die. But now, he regretted not making sure he was truly dead.

Murong Yao and Feng Sui Ge fought bare-handed. However, Feng Sui Ge was stronger and more skilled than him. So in the end, Murong Yao lost the fight.

At the ending, he died staring at his father’s body, and images of his father, who he considered the most important person to him, appear in his mind. Murong Zhong had been willing to give up everything for him, even become a traitor or a villain, all for his sake.

My Two Cents

I think Feng Xi Yang still care for Xia Jing Shi. Even after everything, the feelings was still there. But she tried her best to move on. She only realized Xia Jing Yan’s sincere love when it was already too late. And to make it even sadder, Feng Xi Yang actually wanted to keep the baby, yet she couldn’t.

I honestly thought that Feng Sui Ge might develop some kind of fear or trauma toward power, especially when it involved the throne. After everything he went through, it would make sense why he so adamant to refuse it.

However, it could also be because he valued freedom after living far away from the palace and the court politics. Either way, the ending was acceptable for me. I really like how they add the feather duster joke. It was a small detail, but it softened the mood. And it felt like a quiet promise that life would finally be kinder to them.

Well, dear readers, I hope you enjoy this article as much as I did when I wrote it. Thank you for stopping by. I’ll see you in another drama review and ending explained post. Ciao!
