Bloom Life Ending Explained
What Happened to Xia Zi and Zhou Heng Zhi on Bloom Life Ending?
Zhou Heng Zhi was so troubled by Xia Zi’s indifference that he even asked Timur the barber whether this “fig” had a heart at all. He didn’t know that on the same night Xia Zi lay awake staring into the darkness after Chang Yue asked about her opinion about him. But she has many things weighing her mind, and romance was never on the list. Yet, Xia Zi’s heart wasn’t completely frozen either.

The renovation of Camel Bell Inn exhausts a lot of time and resources, so they needed more money to continue. To solve the problem, Zhou Heng Zhi decided to postpone the renovation and left Kashgar for a while to raise more capital. Before leaving, he entrusted everything in Xia Zi’s care. Yet, she barely heard from him and that made her worry.
Xia Zi and Fang Nan’s story finally got closure after she went to visit her former teacher, Mrs. Li, who also happen to be Fang Nan’s mother. Mrs. Li casually revealed that Fang Nan once liked a girl in his class and even made an almond necklace for her. Hearing his mother almost exposed his secret, Fang Nan panicked and trying to stop her from saying any more.
That night, Xia Zi walked home with him. Fang Nan knew that Xia Zi struggling financially and tried to offer some money, but she firmly refused. Xia Zi already understood how he felt about her.
She explained that Fang Nan belonged to Kashgar, while she might not stay there forever. There were no point in holding on when they clearly have no future together. Fang Nan understood.
Resigned, he handed her the almond necklace and said that if she didn’t accept it, he would never be able to move on. Xia Zi took it and put it around her neck. Smiling brightly, she told him that he could move on now. Fang Nan, that gentle-hearted young man, watched her walk away. He was smiling too, but the redness in his eyes showed what he truly feels.
Not long afterward, Zhou Heng Zhi finally returned. The moment Xia Zi saw him, she couldn’t hide the happiness in her eyes. Zhou Heng Zhi smiled at her and said that he had promised to come back, of course he would keep his word.
Zhou Heng Zhi said that he had visited his hometown in Xichang. To gather money for the inn, he had sold his camera and all of his lenses. He also showed Xia Zi photos of his first homestay at Qingcheng Mountain in Chengdu. As she scrolled through the gallery, Xia Zi found her photos. Her heart felt warm instantly.
Now the power couple reunited. They quickly came up with a new way to earn money: offering private tours for visitors. They are partnering with a local travel agency and soon launched their business.
Xia Zi and Zhou Heng Zhi would pick tourist up from the train station, introduce them to local foods (of course from Adili’s family restaurant), take them to visit local craftsmen (which is Batur and his workshop), enjoying music and dancing at the local club, and a visit to the desert before dropping them back to the hotel.
Everything was going smoothly until one tourist left her expensive camera in the desert. Without hesitation, Zhou Heng Zhi went back to retrieve it. Unfortunately, the weather was bad that day. The sky was red as a sandstorm approaching.

Xia Zi couldn’t get in touch with him, and it makes her worried and scared. Then she saw her father’s old motorbike. Without thinking, Xia Zi jump on it and headed to the desert herself. She charged through a fierce sandstorm. Her visibility limited and she nearly crashed. Luckily, she spotted a familiar car nearby. And it was their car.
Zhou Heng Zhi realized that it was Xia Zi and rushed her into the car. only after seeing him safe did her racing heart begin to calm down. meanwhile, Zhou Heng Zhi almost lost his when he saw her reckless action. Je tried to make joke to ease the tension, but Xia Zi’s stared shut him up.
Turning away, Xia Zi said that she had been very scared that he wouldn’t come back just like her father. Zhou Heng Zhi swallowed nervously. And after hesitating, he confessed that he didn’t want them to remain just friends. Xia Zi answered with a kiss. Behind them, the storm slowly quieted down, and the sun finally appeared.
Finally!!!! This may not be the most romantic confession in Cdramaland, but it was definitely one of the most touching.
The homestay finally ready for the grand opening. It was renamed Soaring Dove Homestay. Soon the tourists start to come. The themed guest rooms quickly become a hit among them. But as Xia Zi began to settle down and enjoy her life, both Laili and Minawar left Kashgar to pursue their own dreams.
Meanwhile, Chang Yue began volunteering at the Kizil Caves. Every morning she climb stairs to the cave to make copies of the ancient murals. The murals told interesting, and one of them reminded her of Xia Hui, who had also left a light in their hearts.
Back in Kashgar, Zhou Heng Zhi surprised Xia Zi with Xia Hui’s old phone. The phone was given to him by Chang Yue. And after getting it repaired, he retuned the phone to its rightful owner. Inside was a video message for Xia Zi.
In the recording, Xia Hui said that he missed both Xia Zi and her mother. The war has begun and the hospital was very busy. Xia Hui said that he was worried he might never return and see them again.
Xia Zi recorded a reply for him. Talking to the camera felt as if like he was standing right in front of her. Xia Zi told his father that she missed him too. Back then, she couldn’t say her goodbye because she wasn’t ready.
Xia Hui told his daughter that she was his pride, and he wanted her to become herself. This imaginary conversation finally gave Xia Zi the closure she desperately needed. At last, she could move forward with her life.
Surprisingly, the homestay had become viral on the internet. Xia Zia and Zhou Heng Zhi also grew busier. However, they still have the time to help Laili with her love life. Things got a bit shaken up after Grandma fainted and was hospitalized.

After she recovered, Xia Zi, Laili, and Minawar took Grandma to see the snowy mountains. They enjoyed a picnic there while admiring the breathtaking view. Grandma said that during her life as a wife, mother, and grandmother, she had been happy.
But she still had one regret, that is having spent her whole life in Kashgar and never leave. In her next life, Grandma said she wished to be a pigeon. She wanted to soar and glide through the sky to see the world.
When a homestay owner from Zhejiang reach out to Xia Zi and invited her to help with their renovation project. Xia Zi was interested on the opportunity.
After spending time in Kashgar surrounded by the people who loved her, Xia Zi felt that her once empty life was full again. She was ready to set out for another adventure. However, she hesitated because she now had Zhou Heng Zhi and their new homestay.
To her surprise, Zhou Heng Zhi has already thought about it. One evening, he prepared a candlelight dinner and handed her a ticket to Zhejiang. Zhou Heng Zhi wanted Xia Zi to go and unleash her talent there.
He reassured her that he is the most professional person when it comes to homestay. Beside he was surrounded by many people who will help him. To convince her, Zhou Heng Zhi repeated the exact words Xia Hui once said to Cheng Yue. “The land here is so vast, love shouldn’t be so narrow.”
And just like that, the story came full circle.
What Happened to Laili on Bloom Life Ending?
To escape from arranged marriage with Mulading, Laili asked Parhatin to pretend to be her boyfriend. However, Laili didn’t know that Parhatin is already liked her long before she even realized her own feelings.

Everything went smoothly until the day the ancient kiln belonged to her family exploded. Mulading was supposed to watching the temperature, but he left to check out a modern kiln at another workshop. Then he eagerly advised Batur to replace the broken kiln with a modern one.
Mulading didn’t realized that his idea would offend Batur. For his family, the ancient kiln was a precious legacy left by the ancestors. He valued it more than his own life. Mulading was shocked when Batur slapped him.
To help her family, Laili gave all her savings to her parents so they could repair the kiln. At the same time, Batur began to question his actions. He actually knew that Laili was passionate about making earthenware, but he was too rigid in following tradition to pass down the craftsmanship only to son.
Having already lost his only son, Asimjan, Batur pinned down all his hopes to Mulading because of the belief that an apprentice is like a son. He even arranged Mulading to marry his daughter, Laili. The next day, he began teaching her how to make earthenware.
Laili was so happy because it meant that she wouldn’t have to marry Mulading anymore. When she shared this good news with Parhatin, he replied with a love confession. Laily was overjoyed. Now they could be a real couple with a real mutual feeling.
Again, things went smoothly for Laili until something happen. Now, Batur was struck with a sudden illness that made him unable to make earthenware anymore. After three exhausting days of caring for him at the hospital, she returned home. Then she ran to Mulading. Laili asked whether he could teach him how to make earthenware. However, Mulading refused her outright.
All this time, Mulading had been carrying resentment for Batur and Laili. Just because he became Batur’s apprentice, everyone expected him to accept the arranged marriage with Laili, even though she always ignored him.
He wanted to modernize the workshop, but Batur rejected his suggestion and even slapped him for it. Now Laili was asking for his help. And who is going to help him?
Mulading finally voiced his frustration. He sneered at Laili’s relationship. Parhatin was born to make music instrument, Laili surely wouldn’t let Parhatin’s hand to be soaked in the mud all day. And if Laili wanted to save the family business, she could only turn to him. before leaving, Mulading told Laili to face the reality.
Laili couldn’t forget his last words. Deep down, she knew he was right. After thinking about it, she made the difficult decision to break up with Parhatin and accept the arranged marriage with Mulading.
Without saying anything, Laili made it clear to Parhatin that she wanted to end their relationship because she began to ignore his calls and refused to see him. Then, with his instrument on hand, Parhatin boarded the bus to leave Kashgar. His heart broken.
Meanwhile, Mulading started wondering if he was doing the right thing. If the marriage happened, neither he nor Laili would ever happy. Then he made a decision. Just days before the wedding, during a family lunch, Mulading disappeared. He only left behind a letter.
In the letter, Mulading thanked Batur’s family for raising and orphan like him and giving a place to belong. Yet, despite their kindness, he had always felt like an outsider. He also revealed that he had taken he betrothal money with him, calling it as a compensation for Batur’s slap and years of being ignored by Laili.
That night, Laili, Minawar, and Xia Zi headed to the bar and get drunl. They laughed about all the hardships life had thrown to them. But lives must go on.
During the grand opening of the homestay, Xia Zi displayed several pieces of earthenware. Among them was Laili’s original design. Batur stared at the piece. The pride on his face was impossible to miss.
They discussed about the color and in the end, Batur said that the earthenware was Laili’s masterpiece. In the future, she should continue following her own ideas when making her earthenware.
Batur now wholeheartedly supporting her daughter in her path. He encouraged her to go travel and study earthenware making techniques from different places.
All this time, Laili always gave her salaries form working part time to her parents. But Batur and his wife never used them. he handed the money back to Laili and told her to go see the world. Laili and Minawar left Kashgar on the same day.
Laili travelled to Shache and devoted herself to learning. To ease the longing for Parhatin, Laili made a pomegranate necklace and carried it everywhere. One day, while strolling the city, she heard a familiar sound of a dutar. Her eyes lit up.
Following the sound, she rushed into a nearby café. But the musician wasn’t Parhatin. However, he knew him and told Laili that Parhatin had gone to Urumqi to study modern music. The musician gave the dutar to Laili, while she left the pomegranate necklace for Parhatin.
Later, Xia Zi and Zhou Heng Zhi helped Laili and Parhatin reunite. The two tricked Laili into helping clean one of the rooms at the homestay. While she was working, Laili suddenly heard a familiar voice. When she looked at the source, she was stunned. It was Parhatin. He was playing his guitar and singing their song. The necklace hanging around his neck.
During a family dinner, Parhatin told Batur and his wife that he wished to marry Laili. He promised to make her happy and said that his feelings were sincere. Batur didn’t say anything, but a small nod.
At last, Laili finally found her happiness she’d been searching for.
What Happened to Minawar
Minawar got pregnant not long after the wedding. She lost both her position as the lead dancer and her role in the troupe’s new show. After giving birth to a healthy baby girl, she returned to work, only to find herself assigned to an assistant role.

Instead of dancing, now she helps the dancers with their costumes and backstage preparations. Minawar was mocked and looked down by some of her colleagues, but she persisted to stay. All of this happen because Gulistan, who had always envied her, reported her pregnancy to Sadiq and his mother.
Although Minawar always showed up with bright smile, she actually was far from happy in her marriage. Sadiq constantly yells at her and dismissed her dream of dancing again, treating it as nothing more than just a wishful thinking.
Slowly but sure, the criticism from her husband and his family weakened her determination. Now, whenever someone mentioned about dancing to her, she will insist that she had been away from the stage for too long and cannot do it anymore.
This pained those who close to her, including Xia Zi, Laili, and Adili. When Xia Zi went to visit her at the troupe, she saw how miserable Minawar is. She even snapped at one of Minawar’s colleague after heard her blaming Minawar’s mistake as “mom brain”.
Xia Zi pointed out that anyone who only has five hours to sleep a day would having the same problem too. Later, after Xia Zi and Laili learned that Minawar is stressing over her weight gain, they came up with a plan to help her. From then on, the girls could be seen jogging around the narrow alleyways in matching outfits, looking more like a girl group than a fitness group.
Adili who just returned from abroad bought a dancing costum and gace it to Minawar as both a wedding gift and a fift for the bith of her daughter. Minawar was so happy when she saw it. later, inside the car, she told Sadiq about the upcoming audition for dancer.
Sadiq snapped at her, saying that she was now a mother and shouldn’t entertain her mind with such thought. He also questioned about Adili’s identity. He dislikes when another man making his wife smile but he didn’t even care whether she was happy or not.
When the homestay was preparing for the grand opening, Xia Zi invited Minawar to perform at the opening ceremony. She refused, saying she hasn’t dance for too long and afraid of embarrassing herself.
During the celebratory dinner that evening, Minawar thanked Adili for the costume. She admitted that even though she would probably never dance again, the gift has made her see her old self. Adili smiled before he telling Minawar that he believed she was born to dance, and she clearly wanted to keep dancing too.
Minawar finally made a decision. The turning point came after she read article about a national arts project. She returned to the homestay wit baby Aliya. She told her mother and Xia Zhi that she neded their help to take care of the baby while she pursued her dream. Without hesitation, Minawar’s mother and Xia Zi agreed to support her.
At home, Sadiq was furious when he learned that Minawar wanted to spend six months in Shanghai. He gave her an ultimatum that if she left the house, he would divorce her. She left him anyway. Sadiq tried to chase her, but his father stopped him.
Minawar and Laili left on the same day. after arriving in Shanghai, Minawar immediately joined audition. She only returns to Kashgar months later after learning that Grandma has fainted. When she arrived, everyone was surprised by her new look. She cut her hair short and now the colour is black. And she carried herself with a bold confidence that had been missing from herself for months.
After the divorce, Sadiq began dating Gulistan, the girl who always jealous of Minawar. When she heard the news, Minawar didn’t bat her eyes. She was completely unbothered by it.
Later, when Xia Zi and Laili told her that they wanted to see her dance again, the three women went to the mountain together. Xia Zi and Laili set up the camera to record her performance. She decided to do it at the foot of Muztagh Ata, to fulfil her childhood dream.
Clad in red, Minawar finally returned to the stage as the best dancer. She moved gracefully across the grass, reminding everyone why she was famous as the most talented dancer in Kashgar.
My Two Cents
I couldn’t say enough how much I loved this drama. Bloom Life felt like a comfort food after a busy day. It was a shame that such a good drama only had eight eepisodes. I wish it had been longer like Meet Yourself. Oh well, now I have to move on from this one. But before that, I might watch Beauty of Resilience just so I can see Guo Jun Cheng on screen one more time.
Thank you for stopping by, dear readers. I hope this article helped you understand this drama a little better. I’ll see you in another drama review and ending explained. Until that, see you later!
