What Happened with Xiang Qian and Gao Ping on Our Days Ending?
After a long period of living in awkward circumstances, Xiang Qian and Gao Ping decided to separate amicably. Xiang Qian had already arranged that Gao Ping would get 200,000 yuan (about 28,000 USD) from their savings. She would keep the rest because she had two children to raise and most of their savings came from her earning.
But Gao Ping had no idea that Li Shu would be blackmailing him for 400,000 yuan in hush money. He had no choice but to give the 200,000 yuan to Li Shu.
Xiang Qian found out about the money, so she asked him to return the money immediately. Gao Ping panicked because Li Shu refused to return the money. Xiang Qian came to Professor Lu’s meeting and revealed everything.
Xiang Zhong and Xiang Nan found out that Gao Ping had been cheating on Xiang Qian with the dean’s daughter for months. Xiang Zhong publicly confronted Gao Ping, resulting in the scandal spreading like fire. Gao Ping lost the title of valedictorian as a result.
Professor Lin found out about it. He told Gao Ping that he had already sent his daughter back to the UK. That was the end of Gao Ping’s dream of success. The god of fortune was apparently hating Gao Ping. An accident caused him to lose all his hard work and was sent to prison.

This became a dilemma for Xiang Qian. After Jiang Hong Bin tried to scare her family by smashing the Xiang family’s house, she decided to take all the blame. But when she went to the police station, Attorney Wu reported that Chai Jin had turned himself in.
Chai Jin said that he did it for her sake. All this time, Chai Jin has had Xiang Qian on his heart. However, he always kept her on his heart because he was never confident about the marriage, unlike Xiang Qian.

Jiang Hong Bin was called to the police station, but he managed to get away with it by saying that the rape and beatings were just the whims of their relationship.

Xiang Nan went to find Jiang Hong Bin’s driver to ask for Xu Su Min’s contact number. But he was too afraid to help. She asked Jiang Jia Qiao as well, but she was also too afraid to help. Fortunately, Xu Su Min’s address in Canada was obtained through some connections by Xiang Qian.
As the only one with the visa, Xiang Qian flew there to negotiate with Xu Su Min. It wasn’t easy for Xiang Qian. Xu Su Min didn’t want to help Xiang Nan, Xiang Qian had waited outside Xu Su Min’s gate the whole day.

Well, actually, Xu Su Min changed her mind because she finally realized that Jiang Hong Bin would never give her the rest of the money he had promised her before.
So when Xiang Qian told her that they would give her all of Xiang Nan’s share of the properties, she agreed. Xu Su Min didn’t live as well as she let the world see. All the while, she was heavily dependent on Jiang Hong Bin’s money.
Xu Su Min’s evidence was enough for Attorney Wu to report Jiang Hong Bin to the Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau. Later, Jiang Hong Bin was arrested for tax evasion, money laundering, illegal money transfer, and more. On the day the police took him away, the Xiang sisters watched from the sidelines.
Xiang Nan finally got the divorce she wanted. She opened another glass studio in Jingdezhen with her former partners. Jiang Jia Qiao opened an art gallery and sold her art. They still have a good relationship.
From Jiang Hong Bin, Jiang Jia Qiao learned that her parents didn’t die in an accident, but that her father used to abuse her mother. When Mrs. Jiang couldn’t take it anymore, she got her husband drunk and killed him with gas poisoning.
Mrs. Jiang also died next to her husband. When Jiang Jia Qiao asked if Xiang Nan still held a grudge against Jiang Hong Bin, she said that she didn’t think about the hatred anymore. Xiang Nan just wanted to live a good life and focus on moving forward.
My Two Cents
Okay… it seemed like things went very well for the sisters. They got what they wanted and gained a lot of life experience. I really like how they work together to overcome their problems.
However, it was kind of annoying to see the father always interfering in everything and I really didn’t like it when he started to raise his voice when he didn’t agree with something or wasn’t happy about something.
