Love’s Ambition is a romance drama, starring Zhao Lu Si and William Chan. This drama was adapted from a web novel, Da Qiao Xiao Qiao by Zhang Yue Ran. It tells the story of Xu Yan (Zhao Lu Si) and Shen Hao Ming (William Chan) and their up and down relationship.
Unlike her previous drama, Zhao Lu Si shed all her cute girl image and appeared as a strong and ambitious mature woman. Xu Yan did everything she could to get Shen Hao Ming to marry her. Their relationship has become a perfect fairy tale that people envious about it.

Zhao Lu Si Struggles and Fans Concern
Before the release of Love’s Ambitions, Zhao Lu Si had already become a hot topic on social media, with her conflict with FILA Fusion. While the fans were excited to see her return after a yearlong break, the anticipation for Love’s Ambition drama was quickly mixed with concern for the actress herself.

However, it appears that this drama didn’t attract attention solely because of the collaboration. Some was already attracted due to the costumes. In Love’s Ambition, Zhao Lu Si’s costume has sparked discussion even when the drama was still in production.
During the production, Zhao Lu Si’s costumes has already created buzz and people loved her outfits and it has become hot topic in social media. When the trailer was released in June 2025, a short scene of Xu Yan (Zhao Lu Si) slapped a male character with a Versace bag creating a huge wave. The scene, which you could find in episode 11, took a hit and become a trending topic all over and the bag instantly sold out.
