What Happened to Ren Xiao Ming and Bai Shu on Vanished Name Ending?

Ren Xiao Ming did everything to hide the diary because it contained the truth about her and Bai Shu, and their connection to the corpse found at the school. She even pretended to be insane to protect Bai Shu. Meanwhile, Bai Shu kept pressing Li Meng about the diary’s whereabouts to keep Ren Xiao Ming out of the case.

Vanished Name Ending Explained – What Happened to Ren Xiao Ming and Bai Shu?

Everything changed after Ren Xiao Ming had Liu Xiao Ran report her as the killer. She slipped out of the ward but still left the A Hundred Years of Divergence book for Li Meng to see. The book was the master key for her hidden message with Bai Shu.

Li Meng understood it and found the diary buried at the cemetery in Wu Ming Mountain. The next morning, Li Meng had her team waiting for Ren Xiao Ming at the airport.

Ren Xiao Ming took a drastic measure after Bai Shu planned to turn herself in. Bai Shu even arranged for Ren Mei Yan to take care of Xiao Yu. So Ren Xiao Ming made another plan.

She arranged Ren Mei Yan take care of Xiao Yu on her behalf, bought an apartment, and left money to support Ren Mei Yan and Ren Xiao Fei. She even entrusted them to Liang Yi. Ren Xiao Ming only ask her mother not to cry if she saw her daughter being taken away.

During the interrogation, Ren Xiao Ming confessed that she had returned to Qidaohezi in 2010 to meet He Yu Qiong. However, after seeing Zhou Na wearing a leopard-print coat and holding a knife, Ren followed Zhou Na instead. She found Zhou Na and Bai Shu fighting in the cemetery.

To protect Bai Shu, she pushed Zhou Na away and fight her. In the midst of chaos, she stabbed Zhou Na with a red pen. Ren Xiao Ming insisted that the crime was hers alone and that no one else was involved. However, Ren Xiao Ming did not know how the body ended up inside the concrete block.

Li Meng immediately saw the flaws in her story. The cause of death was a broken neck, not the stab wound. Also, Wang Hao had revealed that Zhou Na carried a gun. So where was it?

Bai Shu later turned herself in. She said that Zhou Na had confessed to killing Wang Hao. When Bai Shu urged her to surrender, Zhou Na panicked and grabbed her. Ren Xiao Ming arrived. She thought Zhou Na was attacking her, so she pulled her away.

Zhou Na realized they were witnesses to her crime. She came back and fired at them. Bai Shu and Ren Xiao Ming ran. Zhou Na caught Ren Xiao Ming, and pointed the gun at her. To save her, Bai Shu stabbed Zhou Na with a pen.

They ran again and then separated after Ren Xiao Ming received a call that drained the color from her face. Afraid Zhou Na was already dead, Bai Shu went back. But when she noticed the gun was missing, she realized someone else had been there.

That night, Ren Xiao Ming was in shock, so Bai Shu drugged her with a sleeping pill. Bai Shu then returned to the scene, but the body was gone. Just like Ren Xiao Ming, Bai Shu had no idea how the body ended up in the concrete block.

Again, Li Meng faced the question of why both Bai Shu and Ren Xiao Ming didn’t know that the body died of a broken neck.

Later, the police obtained a video of the confrontation. The video confirmed Bai Shu’s story. But Ren Xiao Min and Bai Shu’s story was different from Zhang Fang, who also turned himself in. He claimed that he had choked Zhou Na and taken the gun.

However, Li Meng saw through his lie. If he were the killer, why would he fake his own death in front of Ge Wen Jun?

Then came another twist, the pen wasn’t filled with human blood, but deer blood. 🦌

A recorded conversation was sent to the police station. It was between Ge Wen Jun and Zhang Fang and it revealed more. Ge Wen Jun had schemed to cause the accident involving Zhang Fang that killed innocent people.

Zhang Fang told Ge Wen Jun that none of them: Bai Shu, Ren Xiao Ming, or him, were willing to take the blame anymore. Then, a splash was heard. Zhang Fang jumped into the river.

It was Bai Shu who sent the recording before turning herself in. But she ordered the delivery man to send it two days later.

During a second interrogation, Bai Shu admitted that she staged Zhang Fang’s “death” to free him from Ge Wen Jun. She then continues with her story in 2010. The next day, she and Ren Xiao Ming went back to the forest in the morning.

But Zhou Na’s body was gone. Someone had been helping them or maybe she wasn’t dead at all. Bai Shu told Ren Xiao Ming that this was their second chance from heaven. She asked her to go to Qingzhou or even abroad and don’t return for a long time. And for what happened in the cemetery, Bai Shu will handle the rest.

Later, after she go home. Ge Wen Jun has been waiting for her with a footage of Ren Xiao Ming and her killing Zhou Na. Bai Shu was shocked and realized that it was Ge Wen Jun had taken the gun. Everything changed and despair washed over her.

If it was someone else, Bai Shu was confident that she could win. But if it was Ge Wen Jun, Bai Shu and Ren Xiao Ming knew they had no chance. Bai Shu recorded the truth and everything they did in the diary using invisible ink and gave it to Ren Xiao Ming before she left China.

With the diary, video, and voice recording, the police finally cleared Ren Xiao Ming. But she collapsed at the interrogation room, and the doctor revealed that she was pregnant. Liu Xiao Ran was called in, and Chen Jun Hang saw it as an opportunity to fix their PR disaster.

Just when they thought the case was closed, the forensics report revealed that the body wasn’t Zhou Na’s.

Everyone was shocked. Including me.🤯

Due to lack of evidence, Bai Shu was released. She and Ren Xiao Ming were instructed not to contact each other. Meanwhile, Liu Xiao Ran played the role of a caring husband in front of the media. He drove her to the riverbank, where she wanted to be alone. However, not long after he left, Ren Xiao Ming fell into the river after a tricycle nearly hit her.

Meanwhile, Bai Shu returned home to investigate and find a cabinet filled with deer blood powder. Ge Wen Jun, who has been monitoring the house using a CCTV camera, revealed the truth. She told Bai Shu that the dead person was Zhang Cui Ping, Bai Shu’s biological mother.

She was killed by Ge Wen Jun. Determined to hurt Bai Shu, Ge Wen Jun said that she would never find Zhou Na’s body and also Xiao Yu.

After knowing the truth, Bai Shu went to the forest to mourn. She cried and cried. All her life, Bai Shu had searched for her mother, unaware that she had always been nearby. As memories about that unfortunate day came back to her, Bai Shu realized where Zhou Na’s body was buried. She called Li Meng. But by the time she and the police arrived, Bai Shu was gone.

Li Meng immediately discovered that Bai Shu had taken the gun from Zhou Na’s grave. Li Meng knew she had to find Bai Shu before she killed Ge Wen Jun, so they searched for her. They found her on a rooftop of an apartment facing Ge Wen Jun, who was pretending to throw Xiao Yu off the ledge. Li Meng aimed her gun at Bai Shu. Bai Shu aimed at Ge Wen Jun.

Ren Xiao Ming arrived just in time. She told Bai Shu that Ge Wen Jun deserved to die because she killed her loved one. Ren Xiao Ming also said that she will accompany Bai Shu even if she had to die.

Because the moment Bai Shu pulled the trigger, Li Meng would shoot her. If that happened, Ren Xiao Ming said she would jump from the ledge. In the end, Bai Shu fired. But she fired into the sky.

Xiao Yu was safe because Ge Wen Jun had only thrown a doll which wrapped in Xiao Yu’s dress. She probably still has some compassion and conscience, not wanting to kill the little girl. Ge Wen Jun was finally arrested. The nightmare was over.

But not for Ren Xiao Ming. She received a call that her mother was in the hospital and needed surgery. However, Ren Mei Yan’s condition didn’t improve. The last time Ren Xiao Ming saw her mother, her mind was muddled.

She called her Yu Xiu and said that she would return Ren Xiao Fei to her. She didn’t explain anything to Ren Xiao Ming and just ate her porridge. But through Ren Mei Yan’s ramblings, Ren Xiao Ming learned how much her mother loved her.

The judge decided that Ren Xiao Ming interfered with the police investigation and was detained for five days and fined 500 yuan. Bai Shu was sentenced to three years for illegal firearm possession. Her obstruction of the police investigation was also a crime, resulting in a combined sentence of four years in prison.

Years later, Ren Xiao Ming, Bai Shu, and Zhang Fan celebrated the Spring Festival by the river. They sat and reminisced about their past and the people who left them.

Ge Wen Jun had discovered that Bai Shu and Zhang Fang had conspired to make her believe Zhang Fang had committed suicide. She felt betrayed because her own daughter had sided with an outsider. And now, she was going to make her pay.

After confirming that the body wasn’t Zhou Na, Li Meng took Huang Yue to the only deer farm in Qidaohezi. In that abandoned farm, they found traces of powdered deer blood, often used for heart conditions. But it was Huang Yue who find the place where the body disposal site, after he fell in it. 😆

Meanwhile, Bai Shu returned home to investigate once again. She went to the cellar, where Ge Wen Jun watched her movement through a CCTV camera. She instructed Bai Shu to open a cabinet full of deer blood powder that was sent for her regularly by a woman named Zhang Cui Ping.

Meanwhile, the police found out that there was a deer farm staff who has connection to Bai Shu’s life. Only after interrogating Zhang Fang, Li Meng and her team finally uncovered the truth. Zhang Cui Ping was Bai Shu’s birth mother.

Due to circumstances, she had given her up for adoption to Ge Wen Jun. But Zhang Cui Ping never truly let go. She stayed close, watching her daughter from a distance, even after Ge Wen Jun warned her to stay away.

Zhang Cui Ping accidentally filmed the confrontation between Bai Shu, Ren Xiao Ming, and Zhou Na. She likely killed Zhou Na and took the gun to protect her daughter. Zhang Cui Ping even cleaned the red pen to remove fingerprints and filled it with deer blood.

Ge Wen Jun began to suspect something was amiss when Zhang Cui Ping came to her house with the deer blood powder and the red pen. Zhang Cui Ping asked Ge Wen Jun to give the pen to Bai Shu and told her that everything had been taken care of.

Ge Wen Jun followed Zhang Cui Ping back to the deer farm. There, Zhang Cui Ping showed Ge Wen Jun the footage and Zhou Na’s handbag. Zhang Cui Ping said she would turn herself in and take full responsibility, insisting that Bai Shu had nothing to do with it. However, when Ge Wen Jun asked where the body was, Zhang Cui Ping refused to answer.

Then, Zhang Cui Ping said something that triggered Ge Wen Jun: she called herself Bai Shu’s birth mother. Hearing that alone made Ge Wen Jun furious. To her, it was unacceptable. All these years, Bai Shu had never called her “Mom.” If Zhang Cui Ping stayed, that would never change.

Ge Wen Jun smiled and promised to arrange a meeting between Zhang Cui Ping and Bai Shu before she turned herself in. When Zhang Cui Ping let her guard down, Ge Wen Jun strangled her with Zhou Na’s bag strap.

After she died, Zhang Cui Ping’s body was thrown into a pit. Ge Wen Jun then turned on the concrete mixer and filled the pit with concrete, burying Zhang Cui Ping, the pen, and the truth with it.

Ge Wen Jun believed Zhang Cui Ping deserved it. She believed that Zhang Cui Ping had always manipulated her, using the title of “mother” as a weapon. This woman is truly a psycho.🤯

Later, Ge Wen Jun came to Zhang Fang with a video of Ren Xiao Ming and Bai Shu committing murder. She asked Zhang Fang to hide Zhou Na’s body. Zhang Fang believed the body inside the concrete block was Zhou Na’s and decided to hid it in the base of a statue at Qidian Middle School. Zhang Fang agreed to do it all, because he wanted to protect Bai Shu and Ren Xiao Ming.

Back in the present, when Zhang Fang planned to turn himself in, Ge Wen Jun stopped him. She told Zhang Fang the truth and manipulated him into giving a false confession for Bai Shu’s sake.

Zhang Fang agreed. He believed that Bai Shu would be heartbroken if she knew that the body was actually her birth mother’s. Again, to protect both Bai Shu and Ren Xiao Ming, he followed Ge Wen Jun’s plan. But Li Meng managed to find the loopholes in his story.

Ge Wen Jun was apprehended after she took Xiao Yu away. If only Li Meng came a little bit late, she might have been killed by Bai Shu who believed Ge Wen Jun has killed Xiao Yu. Despite everything she had done, Ge Wen Jun never felt guilty. In her mind, she was only punishing those who made mistakes.

After the case was filed, the task force reconstructed the evidence chain and finally identified her as the murdered of Zhang Cui Ping. Ge Wen Jun had evaded justice for years, but not anymore. She was convicted of murder and witness tampering and sentenced to death. Ultimately, she was executed.

What Happened to He Yu Qiong on Vanished Name Ending?

He Yu Qiong is already dead years ago in 2010. The money that Ren Xiao Ming always sent to a bank account, it was for his mother.

Vanished Name Ending Explained – What Happened to He Yu Qiong?

Back then He Yu Qiong was waiting for Ren Xiao Ming at the Friendship Eatery. She did arrive, but before she entered the restaurant, she saw Zhuo Na holding a knife and decided to follow her instead.

Meanwhile, near the restaurant, a school bus carrying children suddenly caught in fire. He Yu Qiong rushed over without hesitation. He jumped into the bus and managed to get the children out one by one. But in the end, he inhaled too much smoke and collapsed. He saved everyone else, but not himself.

At that time, Ren Xiao Ming and Bai Shu were running away, thinking they had killed Zhuo Na. Then the call came. Blood drained from Ren Xiao Ming’s face the moment she heard He Yu Qiong’s mother said that he was gone. Her world collapsed that day.

All these years Ren Xiao Ming carried a knot in her heart. She kept thinking that if she had just knocked on the window that day, He Yu Qiong would have looked up and seen her. Maybe everything would turn out differently.

When she sat at the same table in the restaurant, she thought she saw him behind the window. He Yu Qiong told her not to be sad. Even if he had seen her that day, he would still run into the bus and save those children. Ren Xiao Ming cried.

Months later her belly was getting big. Ren Xiao Ming prepared to move out of her house. She found a hidden letter inside the base of the old fan that she once used during her relationship with He Yu Qiong.

The letter was written from a French man to a girl named Betty. The man knew that his life would end soon, but he wrote that death would only bring him back to her, to their hometown when they first met. He said he had no regret, because he loved her deeply.

But he told Betty to live well and be happy. His only regret was that they had no children, Yet he hoped she would have them someday. He said that he would love the children, because they were hers. And he believed they would love her too, because she would be a good mother.

He ended the letter with “I love you in life or in death. I love you a thousand times over.” When Ren Xiao Ming finished reading that letter, a sharp pain suddenly gripped her. Her fingers tightened around the paper. The contractions had started. Ren Xiao Ming was in labour but the knot in her heart slowly loosened.

What Happened to Liu Xiao Ran on Vanished Name Ending?

Do I have to explain about this scumbag’s ending? Well, let’s jump into the conclusion then. *sigh*

Liu Xiao Ran’s real name is Liu Zhao Di. He came from a rural village in China. His parents weren’t some kind of elite. They were just ordinary farmers in their 70s and 80s, yet they still had to work the land to survive.

Vanished Name Ending Explained - What Happened to Liu Xiao Ran?
Vanished Name Ending Explained – What Happened to Liu Xiao Ran?

When Ren Xiao Ming was hospitalized, they came and gave a huge shock to Ren Mei Yan, who always believed that Liu Xiao Ran came from a wealthy family.

Ren Xiao Ming explained that since high school, Liu Zhao Di changed his name to Liu Xiao Ran because he thought his real name sounded tacky. He fabricated a story about his background and kept his family hidden. But his face did resemble the old man, so genes didn’t lie. 🤪

When Ren Xiao Ming is preparing for the divorce’s outcome, she found out about the Liu couple. She used them to threaten Liu Xiao Ran when she needed him to report her to the police as the killer, and the evidence is the diary.

A favor that left him baffled and also a perfect way to force him to admit he plagiarized the book. Because surely Liu Xiao Ran didn’t want to be connected to a homicide case.

When Ren Mei Yan was still processing the shocking fact, a paparazzi appeared at the ward and took their photos. Soon, the story of Liu Xiao Ran abandoning his old parents got the internet exploding, and he was panicked.

Liu Xiao Ran was shocked when Chen Jun Hang came. Instead of preparing a PR plan, he had a handful of contracts, containing a release of liability contract, an amendment contract, and a termination contract.

Liu Xiao Ran didn’t even know that the paparazzi were sent by Chen Jun Hang himself. The publisher and investor knew that Liu Xiao Ran’s problems were too big for them to handle and were looking for a way to protect themselves legally.

Liu Xiao Ran exploded, and in the midst of anger, he hit Chen Jun Hang’s head with one of his awards. Chen Jun Hang collapsed, but Liu Xiao Ran still yelled at him to vent his anger. Only after he saw the blood, the anger drained out of him. This time, he realized he had really gone too far. He called the ambulance.

Later, Chen Jun Hang fully recovered from the blunt head trauma. Meanwhile, Liu Xiao Ran was convicted of assault and sentenced to five years.

My Two Cents

Okay, I think I’ve finally made the story clear. It was quite confusing at first, especially because the scenes kept jumping from the present to the past, and back to the present at lighting speed. But in the end, I managed to piece everything together in a way that I hope all of you can follow.

It was heartbreaking to see He Yu Qiong die. But I had a feeling he was already gone early. Otherwise, there’s no way he would have let Ren Xiao Ming face everything on her own.

On the other hand, the biggest plot twist has to be Zhang Cui Ping’s presence. She was nowhere to be seen, and suddenly she appeared. What’s impressive was how the writer slipped into the story so seamlessly, as if she had been there all along and we were the ones who failed to notice. 👏🏻

Once again, I was impressed by the acting. You could feel Ren Xiao Ming’s pain when she learned about He Yu Qiong’s death. Ni Ni did an amazing job. And the rest of the cast was just as strong.

Well, that’s it for today, dear readers. I hope you enjoy this article. Don’t forget to check out the other reviews on this site. You might find your next drama to binge this weekend. See you soon, dear readers. Ciao!
