What Happened to Song Mo / Yan Tang and Dou Zhao / Shou Gu on Blossom drama ending?

Song Mo’s mother, Jiang Hui Sun, died because her husband, Song Yi Chun, poisoned her. It was revealed that Song Han was born of Song Yi Chun’s mistress, Li Yao Niang. To change the status of his illegitimate son, Song Yi Chun exchanged Jiang Hui Sun’s baby girl with Song Han.

All the while, Song Yi Chun married Mrs. Jiang only because of her status and wealth. This had become a thorn in his heart, so he never liked Song Mo, let alone considered him a son.

In this life, the Emperor helped Song Mo vent his anger. Song Yi Chun was stripped of his noble status and position. Song Han also lost his right to inherit the title. However, Song Yi Chun was able to poison Song Mo.

When all of Song Mo’s hair turned white, he would die. And it was going to happen in a year’s time. After Song Yi Chun died in prison, Song Mo inherited his title as Duke of Ying. In between the sad news, there is good news. Dou Zhao is pregnant.

The secret letter was finally found after Jiang Hui Sun’s maid was cured of her mental illness. In the letter, Jiang Mei Sun wrote that the emperor wouldn’t hurt him and that many officials were involved in the corruption of the sea wall construction. He also listed the names of the corrupt officials.

The names of Song Yi Chun, Douo Shi Su and Dou Shi Ying were there. Dou Shi Ying didn’t know anything about it at first. He is an upright official who refuses to join the factions. Song Mo and Dou Zhao tried to help him out of his predicament.

Wei Ting Zhen, who oversees the Silver House’s investments, refused to hand over Dou Shi Ying’s investment contract. So, Song MO and Dou Zhao had to use the hard way. With Dou Zhao’s help, Song Mo managed to destroy the silver house’s secret chamber, take all the contracts and destroy its operation.

The emperor was furious when he saw the contracts. Prince Qing got help from his relatives and nobles who pressured the emperor. In the end, it was Song Mo who got arrested, the Emperor fell ill, and the Empress was left to rule.

To help Song Mo, Dou Shi Ying beat the Dengwen Drum in front of the Xiangqing Gate of the Palace. He also severed his relationship with Dou Shi Shu. Wang Ge almost stopped Dou Shi Shu, but the Crown Prince arrived just in time.

Wang Ge tortured Song Mo to confess that he had framed Prince Qing. Since he could not use physical torture, he resorted to using drugs that could stir up Song Mo’s emotions and make him wish he were dead.

Grand Princess Shu De stepped in to help her brother and restrain the Empress. Dou Shi Shu finally realized that he was being sacrificed by the Empress to protect her son, Prince Qing. To Grand Princess Shu De, Dou Shi Shu said that he was aware that he was about to become a scapegoat.

To protect the family and their position in the court, Dou Shi Shu submitted evidence of his crime to the Grand Secretariat under the name of Dou Shi Ying so that he could be praised for his loyalty to the throne. The Crown Prince would then admire and trust him. When Wang Ge came to arrest him, Dou Shi Shu pretended to take Shu De hostage. He died under the arrows for protecting Shu De.

Dou Shi Ying understood Dou Shi Shu’s plan to push him into the Crown Prince faction to ensure the glory of the Dou family. Dou Shi Ying finally took a step to uphold justice. He wrote a petition to help his son-in-law. Eventually, Song Mo was released from prison, but he was kept under house arrest.

The Empress resented the Emperor because she overheard his plan to have her buried with him to avoid the harem’s involvement in politics. Since she could not kill the Emperor because the Crown Prince suddenly appeared, the Empress planned to have the Crown Prince killed first.

Dou Zhao was invited to the Empress’s palace banquet, along with officials’ wives. It was all part of the plan to stage a coup. The Empress planned to hold the women hostage so that their husbands would not resist Prince Qing when he entered the palace to ” quell” the rebellion.

Prince Qing’s plan was to kill all the loyal officials and accuse them of treason. Whether the Emperor was alive or not, Prince Qing would be the one to sit on the throne, as the Crown Prince was already dead at that time.

With the help of Su Yan (the Empress’s maid), Dou Zhao freed the women and took the Empress hostage. But Dou Zhao was backed into a corner because she was outnumbered. As Wang Ge was about to kill Dou Zhao, Chen Jia stabbed Wang Ge. He incited the shadow guards to follow him and Dou Zhao.

Song Mo fought Prince Qing’s guards with all his might. In the meantime, Dou Zhao went to the Emperor’s chamber to save him. She noticed Ji Yong’s medicine box and magnifying glass next to the emperor’s bed. When she saw this, she suddenly began to understand.

Dou Zhao realized that the acupuncture technique Ji Yong had taught her was prepared for this moment. All this time, Ji Yong had been under the Emperor’s orders and had planned everything. Including deceiving Dou Zhao and Song Mo.

Wang Yuan, the emperor’s personal eunuch, told her the truth. The Emperor already knew that everything that happened in Futing was Prince Qing’s doing. To get rid of all the traitorous and corrupt officials, he had Prince Qing plan a coup. However, the Emperor was overwhelmed because the officials who supported the prince exceeded his prediction, and the one who commanded them was the Empress.

Thinking that the Crown Prince was already dead, Prince Qing believed that he would win. Even after the appearance of the emperor, he still had no intention of surrendering. It was only after he learned that he was surrounded by the Crown Prince, the Earl of Yun Yang, Wang Xing Yi, and Ji Yong that Prince Qing understood that he had fallen into a trap.

Prince Qing was taken to the hall where the Emperor, Crown Prince and Song Mo were waiting. It was then that he realized that the Emperor had gone to such lengths to avenge Jiang Mei Sun’s death.

In the end, Prince Qing was punished by being imprisoned for life. He was to be locked in a small room with no daylight. And every day, he would be informed of the achievements of the Emperor and the Crown Prince. The Empress was also sent to the Cold Palace. She could keep the title of Empress, but now she had no power at all. But she refused and requested to die. It looked like the Empress was going to commit suicide. The last word she said to Dou Zhao was farewell.

Song Mo asked the emperor to relinquish all his titles and military honours. Song Mo realized he was dying and wanted to live for himself. Unwilling to lose such a capable subordinate that could help his son govern the country, the Emperor granted Song Mo the only Snow Lingzhi he had.

It could detoxify Song Mo’s poison, but as the consequences, the Emperor will die. However, the Emperor was willing. The Duke of Ding and the Jiang Clan’s name and reputation were restored after the Emperor issued a self-punishing edict. The following year, the Crown Prince ascended the throne.

What Happened to Ji Yong / Yuan Tong / Ji Jiang Ming on Blossom drama ending?

Ji Yong advised Prince Qing that he should recruit Song Han instead of Song Mo. He planned to take advantage of their family affairs to deal with Song Mo’s existence. The prince followed Ji Yong’s words because it was a good plan. However, when Song Mo was imprisoned, Ji Yong hid Dou Zhao from Song Han and sent her to Grandma Cui’s mansion because he was worried about her.

After Song Mo was released, he was stripped of his position as head of the Imperial Guard. Ji Yong urged Prince Qing to act. Meanwhile, Song Han still advised the prince to kill Song Mo because he was a threat. The prince agreed to his plan, but he still asked for Ji Yong’s opinion.

Ji Yong said that no matter who died, whether it was Song Mo or Song Han, it was the Song family’s business. Instead of worrying about Song Mo and Dou Zhao, Prince Qing should worry about the Emperor’s health. When the Emperor regained consciousness, he could always issue an edict to appoint the Crown Prince as the successor to the throne.

The Shadow Guard who spied on Yizhi Hall reported Song Mo’s frail condition and his fight with Dou Zhao. Ji Yong said that Song Mo was too sick to take care of the court anymore. This is the best time for a coup. Moreover, based on Ji Yong’s examination of the king’s health, the emperor won’t last until next spring.

On the night of the coup, Dou Zhao realized that Ji Yong had always worked under the emperor’s orders. His grand plan was to root out corrupt and treacherous officials. Ji Yong showed Prince Qing that he sided with the emperor and told the prince that he was a bad seed who needed to be eradicated. After the crisis ended, Ji Yong was promoted to Minister of Personnel. And when the new dynasty began, he became the country’s first Chief Grand Secretary.

What Happened to Wang Xing Yue on Blossom drama ending?

In the past life, Wang Xing Yue and Dou Ming lived a good life while Dou Zhao died. But in this life, Wang Xing Yue lost her own daughter because of her greed. Dou Ming died because the bandit leader killed her. He blamed Wang Xing Yue for the failed raid. To vent his anger, the bandit leader stabbed Dou Ming to death.

Meanwhile, Dou Shi Shu, Dou Shi Ying, and Wang Xing Yue’s father interrogated Wang Xing Yue because Wei Ting Yue’s mark was found on the bandits. At first, Wang Xing Yue refused to confess. But when her father decided to resign from his position, Wang Xing Yue realized how dire her situation was. She begged everyone in the room, but they would not budge.

Then Dou Zhao arrived, carrying Dou Ming’s body. Seeing her lifeless daughter. Wang Xing Yue went mad. So, the Emperor allowed her to die inside the house.

When Wang Xing Yue was locked in her room, Dou Zhao came to visit her. She told Wang Xing Yue that she had already decided to put the past behind her.

But Wang Xing Yue couldn’t let go. Every time she saw Dou Zhao, Wang Xing Yue couldn’t help but feel hatred for her. But deep inside, the hatred was caused by her guilty conscience for letting her best friend die and stealing all her happiness. It was the fear of retribution that terrified Wang Xing Yue.

Later, a mad sorcerer came to Dou’s mansion and claimed that he could cure Wang Xing Yue. The sorcerer said that Wang Xing Yue should bow down and chant scriptures every day on her way to the mountain. By doing this, she could help Dou Ming and save her from having to suffer in Hell.

Upon hearing the suggestion, Wang Xing Yue stopped acting crazy. Then she begged Dou Shi Ying to let her do it.

Jie Yong told Dou Zhao that the task was difficult. Wang Xing Yue still has to do it in winter, and she would not be able to bear it. It’s only a matter of time before Wang Xing Yue meets her end.

What Happened to Song Han / Mu Yu and Miao An Su on Blossom drama ending?

Song Han has an evil heart and a manipulative mind. After his father died in prison, he followed in his footsteps and sided with Prince Qing. Deep down, Song Han was angry with Song Yi Chun for revealing his background as an illegitimate son. He feared that this fact would hinder his future.

Song Han firmly believed that he was destined to thwart Song Mo’s plan ever since he was born. And by joining the faction, he would be able to do so. Song Han took the imperial examination and won. He asked the emperor to allow him to marry the princess. But the Empress intervened and made the Emperor make Miao An Su a princess and grant her a marriage with Song Han.

Poor Miao An Su sincerely loved Song Han. She believed that she could slowly change Song Han’s nature. She was too naive to understand that a person’s nature can be changed by others. I just want to slap her head and tell her that it was just a dream. 🤬

Song Han’s biggest shortcoming is his insecurity. He felt oppressed by Song Mo’s achievements in his youth. Now he was a nobody without a title. Even though Prince Qing took him in, Song Han could not erase those feelings.

Song Han saw that Miao AnSu’s brother was an arrogant person who might disturb his plans. So, he murdered Miao An Ping. The news of her brother’s death broke Miao An Su’s heart.

After they became husband and wife, Song Han slowly fell in love with Miao An Su. Unfortunately, as his feelings deepened, Miao An Su found out the truth behind Miao An Ping’s death.

On the night of the coup, Song Han managed to escape from the siege. He saw Miao An Su at the palace gate. A look of relief could be seen on his face. Song Mo believed that Miao An Su would never abandon him. However, he didn’t expect that Miao An Su would stab him with a knife. Miao An Su said that he was no longer the boy she once loved.

Dying by her hand would give him some peace of mind. Miao An Su hated him, but she didn’t want to see Song Han defiled by others. When Song Han asks if she will ever forgive him, Miao An Su answers him by pulling off the jade necklace he gave her and throwing it to the ground.

Five Years Later

Ji Yong retired from his official position. He told the Chief Monk of Wanfu Temple that although becoming the Chief Grand Secretary was his life’s ambition, he found it rather boring. He prefers the life of a cultivator. The monk said that Ji Yong’s emotions are fully engaged, and his thoughts are tied to only one person.

Dou Zhao and Song Mo had a very active daughter who liked to climb trees and catch fish. They were both tired because of Song Lian Jun. Dou Zhao said that raising a child was harder than running a business. Song Mo said it was more tiring than fighting a battle. Dou Zhao lamented that they could not travel the world because they had to take care of Song Lian Jun.

Too many things happened, like the walls falling and the garden exploding. Song Mo promised that they could definitely go this time because Song Lian Jun would be going to school soon. The thought of going on a trip (more likely because Song Lian Jun would be going to school) really brings happiness to them. 🤣

Matchmakers compete to choose a husband for Miao An Su. They came to bother her with the potential men even when she was working. However, Miao An Su only wanted a husband who could work with his hands and none of the noble sons could do it.

My Two Cents

Dear readers… I was glad that everything ended with a happily ever after for everyone. Miao An Su was obviously not interested in getting married again, but she was already happy with her life. I wished I could see more of Zhao Zhang Ru and Chen Jia’s married life. They were so cute together.

It was too bad that some of the villains ended abruptly. Wang Ge, who was so fierce in the previous life, died just like that. And although Prince Qing entered the palace with full force, they didn’t seem powerful. Therefore, they were easily defeated. And where did the Imperial Guards go during the coup? Why do they suddenly appear with rifles when the Emperor awakens?

Oh well, even though I had so many questions to ask, it didn’t stop me from feeling happy. I hope that you, dear readers, will feel the same way as I do. Thank you very much for stopping by. Hope this post is of some help to you. I’ll see you in another Drama Review and Ending Explained posts. Goodbye!
