Battle Through the Heavens II is the sequel to Leo Wu Lei’s 2018 drama, Fights Break Sphere. We watched the first episode last night and found it to be a promising drama for wuxia fans.

Recently, many dramas were adaptations of famous stories, whether it was web novels or manhuas. This time around, we have gotten to see the adaptation of Dragon Zakura, a 2003 famous manga about school life. This manga was also adapted to Jdorama Dragon Zakura and Kdrama Master of Study. I was thrilled to watch the new Chinese drama in December 2023 adaptation, The Hope, mainly because of Zhang Ruo Yun.
Lei Ming used to be a top lecturer. After repeated failures in establishing his business, Lei Ming applied for a teaching job at a high school. Peng Xiao Ran returned to the small screen as the main character in this historical drama, Unshakable Faith, after her surprise appearance in Scent of Time drama. And we believe that this drama would provide us with an enjoyable and compelling story.
Pang Hong Mei, a police officer, rescued Ji Dan Yang, a patriotic scientist, from the enemy spy. The two of them travelled to Lumen City to participate in the Water Drop Project.

Derailment is another work of art from Priest. The creative mind behind Word of Honor, Justice in the Dark, and Legend of Fei. I was excited when I saw his name on this new Chinese drama premier in December 2023. Priest was already famous for his witty and intriguing stories.
Jiang Xiao Yuan found herself traveling through parallel universes that never seem to intersect. In her original world, Jiang Xiao Yuan was an invincible woman coming from a wealthy background.
