What Happened to Xiao Yao / Wen Xiao Liu / Haoling Jiao Yao / Xiling Jiu Yao on the Lost You Forever (Season 2) Ending?
Xiao Yao has made peace with her past and her identity as the daughter of Xiling Heng and Chi Chen. Although the King of Haoling had revoked her identity, they still maintained their bond as father and daughter.
After the King of Haoling ceded the throne to Cang Xuan, he retired to Xiyan Mountain and lived as a commoner. Xiao Yao accompanied her father for a while until he fully recovered from his illness, then returned to Wushen Mountain to live with her grandfather.
This time, Xiao Yao was finally able to live a peaceful life with her beloved and run the Rejuvenation Hall with Tushan Jing. But it didn’t last long when Fangfeng Yi Ying and Tushan Hou lured her and Tushan Jing to Qingshui Town.
Tushan Jing disappeared into the river after Tushan Hou injured him. Xiao Yao was heartbroken, but she believed that he would return to her and fulfill his promise to marry her.
On the wedding day, even though the groom was still missing, Xiao Yao went ahead with the wedding. Cang Xuan and her grandfather tried to stop her, but failed. Cang Xuan became furious and issued a verbal decree forbidding Xiao Yao to marry Tushan Jing without his permission.
Cang Xuan’s eyes widened when Xiao Yao bowed and kneeled before him to beg for his approval. Fortunately, her grandfather came and helped Xiao Yao so that she could still have the wedding. They watched as she bowed to heaven and earth alone.
That night, Xiao Yao sat on the bridal bed in the bridal chamber until midnight. The next day, when her maid brushed Xiao Yao’s hair, she found that there was a lock of gray hair on Xiao Yao’s head.
Xiao Yao found out that it was Cang Xuan who had killed her husband, and that her grandfather had hidden the fact from her. She felt helpless and angry to the point of wanting to kill Cang Xuan. She was imprisoned and the Great Emperor forbade Cang Xuan to visit her.
The Great Emperor tried his best to prevent the chaos in the world that would happen if Xiao Yao killed Cang Xuan. However, it was Cang Xuan who helped Xiao Yao escape from the shackles.
Xiao Yao and Cang Xuan met in the Poinciana Forest. Under the tree, they reminisced about their childhood. Xiao Yao told Cang Xuan that she would kill him and then kill herself. Without hesitation, Cang Xuan took the poisoned poinciana flower from her and ate it. He told her that he felt safe if she died with him, too many things she couldn’t handle if he left her alone.
But his relief turned to fear when Cang Xuan realized that Xiao Yao had never given him a poisonous flower. So there he was, holding the dying Xiao Yao and regretting all his mistakes.

It turns out that everything is just Cang Xuan’s illusion from the karmic tea he just drank. Tushan Jing was indeed missing, but he was not killed by Cang Xuan. Xiao Yao is still waiting for him to return.
When Cang Xuan went to Qingshui City in the midst of the war between Xiyan and Chenrong’s army, Xiao Yao went with him. She was there when Chishui Feng Long was shot by Xiang Liu’s arrow. When she found out that the arrow was poisoned by Xiang Liu’s blood, Xiao Yao knew that she couldn’t save Chishui Feng Long.
With his dying breath, Chishui Feng Long confessed that it was Chishui Xin Yue who tried to kill Tushan Jing and Xiao Yao.
Xiao Yao was furious because Xiang Liu wanted to kill Cang Xuan. She went to see him and shot an arrow at him, but of course it didn’t kill him. On the second shot, Xiao Yao realized that she couldn’t kill him and only asked that they should never see each other again.

Since the Tushan family had already appointed a new chief, Tushan Jing stayed at Jade Mountain to accompany Xiao Yao. When the news of Xiang Liu’s death reached her, Xiao Yao felt a pang in her heart and deeply regretted her harsh words to Xiang Liu.
Xiao Yao wore a wedding dress for the third time, but this time it was for real. She was finally marrying the person she loved the most, Tushan Jing. She was surrounded and blessed by her loved ones. It was a beautiful end to her long and hard life.

What Happened to Cang Xuan on the Lost You Forever (Season 2) Ending?
King Haoling finally revealed that he has always cultivated Cang Xuan as the crown prince of Haoling. Since Cang Xuan is the king of Xiyan, it means only one thing: the unification of the countries. Although some ministers refused, everything went smoothly except for one thing.
Cang Xuan has to marry Haoling Yi (Ah Nian) as his second queen, even though he doesn’t want to. Ah Nian, who was head over heels in love with him before, had changed after Xiyan invaded Haoling and she had to lead the troops into battle.
Now, Cang Xuan was no longer the most important person in her heart. If she had to choose between her father and the Haoling people or Cang Xuan, Ah Nian would choose the former.
After Tushan Jing disappeared for a few days, Xiao Yao went ahead with the wedding despite the groom’s absence. Cang Xuan tried to stop her and even issued an edict.
But Xiao Yao went down on her knees to beg his approval. He was shocked that Xiao Yao would take such a drastic measure. He didn’t know that Tushan Jing was so important to her that she would disregard everything for him.
The Great Emperor knew that the one behind Tushan Jing’s murder was actually Cang Xuan. Unfortunately for Cang Xuan, Xiao Yao also found out. When she confronted Cang Xuan, he confirmed it. Cang Xuan admitted that he did not want her to marry him.
Xiao Yao became hysterical. She said that she had helped Cang Xuan get everything he wanted. All Xiao Yao wanted was Tushan Jing, but Cang Xuan took him away from her.
To avenged Tushan Jing, Xiao Yao fights hard. She tried to stab Cang Xuan with a knife and injured him. At a critical time, Cang Xuan said that they shouldn’t end like that. He didn’t know what went wrong. He didn’t know why it was wrong for him to like her and want to be with her forever.
Xiao Yao was stunned when she heard this. Cang Xuan wanted them to die together and it almost happened if her grandfather and the guards hadn’t broken into the room.
With his help, Xiao Yao escaped from her grandfather’s bonds and they met in the Poinciana Forest. Heartbroken, but bound by her promise to keep Cang Xuan safe, Xiao Yao decides to kill herself, leaving Cang Xuan in agony.
However, all happened in Cang Xuan’s mind. It was just an illusion produced by a tea leaf called Karmic Tea. The Great Emperor gave it to him so that Cang Xuan could see what would happen if he killed Tushan Jing. Fortunately, Cang Xuan was not the one behind the assassination. It was his queen, Chishui Xin Yue, who did it.
I feel this scene is almost similar to 2012’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Down. When the Cullen family had to fight the Volturi clan.
Days after Chishui Feng Long died and Xiao Yao fainted on the riverbank, Cang Xuan sat down to drink tea with his grandfather. The Great Emperor told him that there were two choices for him.
The first was to leave the throne and be with Xiao Yao, and the second was to leave Xiao Yao and continue to be the king of Xiyan. Cang Xuan didn’t want to choose, but his grandfather said that he couldn’t greedily want everything. Still, it was a hard choice for Cang Xuan.
Cang Xuan saw how happy Xiao Yao was when she met Tushan Jing. So, he decided to let her go.

Tushan Jing firmly replied that he supported Cang Xuan because of his talent and magnanimity.
Cang Xuan confessed his feelings to Xiao Yao and gave her the Ruomu flower left by his mother. He also told her that she was allowed to command the Ruoshui clan and asked her to take it as a dowry gift from him and a blessing from an elder.
At the Lost You Forever (Season 2) ending, Cang Xuan was sorry that he couldn’t choose her. On Xiao Yao’s wedding day, Cang Xuan said that he was happy that Xiao Yao was married to Tushan Jing. He always chooses her over everything, and this makes Cang Xuan feel relieved and happy to entrust Xiao Yao to him.
What Happened to Tushan Jing on the Lost You Forever (Season 2) Ending?
At the end, Cang Xuan wanted to prevent Tushan Jing from marrying Xiao Yao. In his eyes, Tushan Jing was nothing but an incompetent, indecisive, and weak person who was unworthy of his precious Xiao Yao. Tushan Jing’s decision to keep Tushan Hou and Fangfeng Yi Ying alive backfired when they plotted against him and Xiao Yao.
Tushan Jing and Xiao Yao were tricked into going to Qingshui City to treat Tushan Tian’s illness. Fangfeng Yi Ying took the opportunity to set a trap for Tushan Hou, using Tushan Jing as bait. Tushan Hou and Fangfeng Yi Ying died after killing each other, while Tushan Jing disappeared after falling into the water. Xing Liu also secretly went to find Tushan Jing.
After disappearing for a few days and missed his wedding, Tushan Jing finally reappeared. He is alive and has gone to Jade Mountain to meet Xiao Yao. At that time, Tushan Jing was badly injured. But Xiao Yao once gave him a life-saving pill to carry with him wherever he went, and it really saved his life.
Tushan Jing was trapped in an underwater cave for days. Until Lirong Chan found him. But there is a secret that even Tushan Jing doesn’t know. It was Xiang Liu who saved him when he was unconscious and floating in the sea.

Tushan Jing finally fulfilled his promise to marry Xiao Yao. He went to see the Great Emperor, the Honorary Emperor of the Haoling Kingdom (Xiao Yao’s father), and also Cang Xuan. Although he looked reluctant, Cang Xuan finally gave Tushan Jing his blessing. They were married in the palace. Tushan Jing and Xiao Yao looked very happy together.
What Happened to Xiang Liu on the Lost You Forever (Season 2) Ending?
Cang Xuan planned to deal with Hong Jiang and the Chenrong Army. However, Xiang Liu’s presence is a hindrance because he excels in warfare and formations. Hong Jiang always has a reason to fight, even though the Chenrong Kingdom was destroyed centuries ago.
Hong Jiang refused Lord Chenrong’s persuasion to surrender, so the last Chenrong army had to prepare for their final battle against the Xiyan Kingdom. Xiang Liu managed to kill Chishui Feng Long with his poisonous blood. He aimed at Cang Xuan, but Chishui Feng Long saw him and shielded him.
After Chishui Feng Long died, Xiao Yao went to see Xiang Liu. She shoots an arrow at him, but it can’t kill him because Xiang Liu has 9 lives. Xiao Yao pulls another arrow, but she can’t bear to kill Xiang Liu. Xiao Yao threatened him with Hong Jiang’s life if he ever tried to take Cang Xuan’s life again.
Xiang Liu asked for her blood as a last request. In front of her, Xiang Liu acted like someone who was cold-blooded and heartless. He didnt even flinched when Xiao Yao said that he only treats people as his pawns. However, when Xiao Yao fainted after losing too much blood, Xiang Liu held her tightly and his tears healed the wound on her wrist.
Xiang Liu asked Ah Nian to take the fainted Xiao Yao to Mount Jade. Then he took her to his oyster-shell house. Before her sleeping body, Xiang Liu said that the poisonous love bug could not be removed. He was able to help Cang Xuan remove it because Cang Xuan did not plant the bug willingly.
However, Xian Liu willingly let Xiao Yao plant the bug on him. He really couldn’t remove it, but Xiang Liu could kill the bug at the cost of his two lives. After he did it, Xiang Liu asked the Queen Mother and Ah Nian to hide the fact that it was he who removed the bug.
Chenrong’s army was tightly encircled by the armies of the Xiyan Kingdom. Xiang Liu knew that this would be his last battle. He sent Chubby the bird away and then wrote a wish on the ball Xiao Yao gave him. Xiang Liu’s wish for Xiao Yao is: “May you have strength, someone to lean on, and a place to call home. May you be happy.”
At the Lost You Forever (Season 2) ending, Xiang Liu dies under thousands of arrows. Ru Shuo forbids his soldiers to touch Xiang Liu’s body. Before he died, Xiang Liu used his last bit of strength to absorb Xiao Yao’s pearl tear. Only after it merged with his eye did he die in peace.
What Happened to Chishui Feng Long on the Lost You Forever (Season 2) Ending?
Chishui Feng Long was a very good right-hand man for Cang Xuan. He is filial to his father and always puts his clan and family above everything else. He didn’t hold a grudge against Xiao Yao for canceling their wedding and still being friends with Tushan Jing after he got together with Xiao Yao.
Chishui Feng Long carries a huge burden of his clan’s reputation on his back. When he found out that it was Chishui Xin Yue who killed Tushan Jing by using Fangfeng Yi Ying and Tushan Hou, he was willing to pay the price for the sake of his sister and his clan.
As a queen and Cang Xuan’s wife, Chishui Xin Yue always dreamed of a good life and a happy marriage, but things went wrong when she realized that Cang Xuan never held her in his heart because there was always Xiao Yao occupying every nook and cranny of Cang Xuan’s heart.
Chishui Xin Yue became jealous and it blinded her. When Cang Xuan found out that Chishui Xin Yue was the mastermind behind Tushan Jing’s assassination he punished her. However, since Cang Xuan could not kill her due to political reason, he let her be the queen but took all her power.
When Cang Xuan wanted to attack Hong Jiang and his Chenrong army, Chishui Feng Long volunteered. His father accused Chishui Feng Long of being greedy for power.
With tears in his eyes, Chishui Feng Long said that he didn’t want power. He knew that his sister had made a grave mistake, and he was too ashamed to pledge for her. If he could solve one big problem for the kingdom, he could ask Cang Xuan to forgive his sister.
Lord Chenrong was too sad to say anything. However, Chishui Xin Yue couldn’t see the sacrifices her family had made for her.
Chishui Feng Long died because he protected Cang Xuan from Xiang Liu’s arrow. The wound itself could be healed, but Xiang Liu’s posion blood didnt have any antidote. On his deathbed, Chishui Feng Long begged Cang Xuan to forgive his sister.
At the end, Cang Xuan promised to protect Chishui Xin Yue, as he considered Chishui Feng Long his closest friend and confidant. His death cleared Chishui Xin Yue’s mind. She promised herself that she would never lose herself to a man. Now, for the sake of her brother’s life and her clan, Chenrong Xin Yue would be a decent queen for the rest of her life.
I found myself crying at this scene. Chishui Feng Long seemed to be an unimportant character. But he is an upright and kind person. I feel bad that he died so early.
My Two Cents
My heart aches for Chishui Feng Long. He is probably the simplest person compared to the complicated Cang Xuan, Tushan Jing, and Xiang Liu. If they got married, Xiao Yao would have a good life, but probably a loveless one. Not because Chishui Feng Long hated her, on the contrary, he would love Xiao Yao with all his heart, but Xiao Yao could never love him.
Xiang Liu stayed with the Chenrong Army because he wanted to fulfill his foster father’s and the soldiers’ wish to die on the battlefield. As soldiers all their lives, the Chenrong soldiers had nowhere to go, no one waiting for them, and no purpose in life.
Therefore, fulfilling their heart’s desire to live as a soldier and die as a soldier is Xiang Liu’s main goal. Besides, Xiang Liu also knew that he lived a lonely life and there was no way he could be together with Xiao Yao. He knew that the one she loved was Tushan Jing.
Therefore, even though his heart was hurt, Xiang Liu still saved Tushan Jing and kept her alive. His death really disappointed me.
