What Happened to Mu Sheng / Zi Qi and Ling Miao Miao on Love Game in Eastern Fantasy Ending?
Through Liuniang’s power, Zi Qi learned the story of his parents. The knot in his heart dissolved when Zi Qi learned that they had loved each other and also loved him. Suddenly, the Crescent responded to his now unburdened heart. Now it had truly become his weapon.
The identity of Zi Qi’s mother is the Goddess Mei. Mu Huai Jing learned that Mei’s crystal heart could help him reach the Heavenly Level. So he gouged it out and killed Mei. But he realized too late that without her heart, Mei would become Resentful Woman. Mu Huai Jiang panicked and asked Lu Huai An for help.
But Lu Huai An didn’t help him at that time. In the end, Lu Huai An did come after all. But he was too late. The Mus are dead, and the Resentful Woman is gone. Lu Huai An regretted his stubbornness.
The Resentful Woman’s escape from Mu Huai Jing’s powerful formation was due to her manipulation of Zi Qi. Then, she entered Mu Yao’s body and massacred the Mus. Zi Qi came up with an idea to give the crystal heart back to Mei. He believed that it could bring Mei back alive. But it meant sacrificing his Demon Core. Lu Huai An refused because the risk was too high.
Zi Qi and the others learned that Mu Yao had entered the Demon Trap Tower the next day. They were infuriated and forced their way into the tower to rescue her. They battled all the way to the Ninth Layer where Mu Yao was being confined. But only Zi Qi and Ling Miao Miao managed to enter the Ninth Layer of the Demon Tower.
Zi Qi and Ling Miao Miao found Mu Yao. She was chained on a platform. Zi Qi tried to use his power to free her, but it was to no avail. She tried to cajole Zi Qi to free her from the chain. However, Ling Miao Miao could tell that it was not Mu Yao who was talking, but the Resentful Woman.
Zi Qi and Ling Miao Miao didn’t have much time to free Mu Yao before the Resentful Woman absorbed all of Mu Yao’s life force and took control of her body.
Ling Miao Miao knew that Zi Qi was willing to sacrifice his life in order to kill the Demon Queen. She said Zi Qi wasn’t alone anymore. He got her and her friends to support him. All they had to do was trust each other and work as a team.
So Ling Miao Miao and Zi Qi infused her power into the crystal heart. But as soon as it was finished, the heart disappeared. The Demon Queen said that Mei’s heart was too fragile and filled with hopeless love. It couldn’t withstand the power of the Ninth Layer.
The Resentful Woman unleashed a power that forced all the demons in the world to kneel down when she completely absorbed Mu Yao’s body. Even Zi Qi was forced to fall to his knees. Lu Huai An knew that something bad had happened. His heart sank when he saw his best friend, the Bamboo Demon, spit out a mouthful of blood.
Old Bamboo said that he connected all his roots to the core of the formation. So when Lu Huai An activated it, it hit him. Old Bamboo wanted Lu Huai An to see clearly that demons and humans could love each other and coexist peacefully. Before he died, Old Bamboo wanted Lu Huai An to trust the children.
The death of another friend made Lu Huai An realize that he had taken the wrong path. So he used all his strength to help Zi Qi, Ling Miao Miao, and the others.
Inside the demon tower, the Resentful Woman confessed that she was the one who lured Zi Qi to take shelter in the Mus and lured him to destroy the last chain that Mei had put on her. All this time, Zi Qi had been her precious pawn.
However, Ling Miao Miao saw through her lies. She pointed out that Zi Qi was not the Demon Queen’s pawn. Back then, The Resentful Woman tried to possess Zi Qi’s body, but she failed. That’s why she hid in Mu Yao’s body for 12 years, because she had to heal herself and couldn’t come out. The Demon Queen once again tried to control Zi Qi to kill Ling Miao Miao, but failed.
With the determination to protect Ling Miao Miao, Zi Qi was able to merge his Demon Core with his Inner Core. Now he had reached level 9 Demon King and had also become the Heavenly Demon Catchers. He became more powerful than the Resentful Woman and was able to defeat her. But the transformation and the battle drained his power, and Zi Qi died in Ling Miao Miao’s embrace.
With the death of Zi Qi, Ling Miao Miao’s task was completed. Ling Miao Miao’s memories flooded back to the time when she unlocked the Apocal Power that erased her memories. And now the exit sign appeared, but Ling Miao Miao refused to leave the world of Catching Demons. At the risk of her life, she used all of her Apocal Power to revive the others.
When everyone returned, Ling Miao Miao was gone, but Lin Yu was back. Zi Qi rejected her and used his power to find Ling Miao Miao. She took him to the Lanyin Illusion Space, where he met the Guardian Master from 900 years ago, Mu Qing Shi. She was there to help Zi Qi bring back Ling Miao Miao.
Zi Qi and Ling Miao Miao returned to the time when they injected their power into Mei’s crystal heart. This time, Zi Qi and Ling Miao Miao infused their power into Mei’s crystal heart. Because Mei got her heart back, the Resentful Woman died, everyone was alive, and the Demon Trap Tower was destroyed. All that was missing was Old Bamboo.
The luck didn’t last long for Ling Miao Miao and the others. Although the Resentful Woman was defeated, the Blood Moon still appeared in the sky. The catastrophe had begun. While Zi Qi and the others prepared to save the world, Ling Miao Miao hesitated. She told her friends that this is the predetermined ending, and no matter what they do, they can’t change the ending.
Thus, Ling Miao Miao told them about the world in the book. The world they’ve been living in exists because Fu Zhou created it. Ling Miao Miao also confessed that she was not Lin Yu and came from the same world as Fu Zhou.

When they reached the bottom of the stairs, Zi Qi found himself inside the system. He met Fu Zhou when he was a teenager. Fu Zhou told Zi Qi that it was impossible to change the ending of someone’s life. Zi Qi told him that it is possible to change the ending because everyone is the main character in his own life. Fu Zhou had the power to give people courage and hope. Fu Zhou didn’t believe this until he found a fountain pen in his sweatpants.
The pen belonged to a girl in his class, Miao Miao. A cheerful girl, she always spreads positivity to those around her. Fu Zhou likes everything about her. In his spare time, Fu Zhou began to rewrite his novel, making Miao Miao the heroine of the world.
One day, Miao Miao reprimanded her classmate who were bullying a girl. But in front of the teacher, they twist the story and Miao Miao become the bully who must apologize to her friends. She went home upset, and her father saw her. He rushed to catch her, but a car hit him from behind.
Miao Miao’s dad passed away and she has to be transferred to another school. feeling upset, Miao Miao left the class without saying a word. Her fountain pen dropped, and Fu Zhou took it. After a serious investigation, the school finally found the truth. The real bullies were punished, but Miao Miao never returned
Zi Qi realized that he was Fu Zhou. He revealed this to Miao Miao. Fu Zhou wrote a novel that was completely different from his fragile, sensitive, and desperate self because he met Miao Miao. Each novel was written for her.
Miao Miao did not know that Fu Zhou was her classmate, but she always encouraged him through her positive comments and feedback. and because of this, Fu Zhou decided to change his life.

Fu Zhou wrote another novel based on the Catching Demons novel. The new book is called Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. It was said that the whole book had been rewritten and the story was now completely different from the original Catching Demons. The ending is very satisfying. Miao Miao thought that the book was not that great, but she still came to the book signing conference.

Mu Yao and Liu Fu Yi were married in Liu Fu Yi’s hometown. They were urged by the villagers to get married. Although the wedding was under the influence of the Phantom Demon, it still counts as their wedding. When they fought the Phantom Demon, Liu Fu Yi sacrificed his life to kill the demon. But with the help of a fox demon, he came back alive.
Through the Hundred Demons Mountain and Sea Map, Mu Yao realized that The Resentful Woman had been residing in her body. Back then, the Demon Queen used her body to kill all the Mus. The only person who knew about this was Zi Qi. He kept the secret to himself because he knew how deep Mu Yao’s hatred for the Resentful Woman was. If she knew that her father died on her hand, Mu Yao would be devastated.
And that is also the reason why Zi Qi decided to destroy the map. He didn’t want Mu Yao to find out the harsh truth. On New Year’s Eve, Mu Yao and Zi Qi, are both unaware that they secretly decided to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the world.
Secretly, Mu Yao asked Lu Huai An to use his power to let her enter the Demon Trap Tower. Mu Yao was willing to die so that the Resentful Woman would disappear from the world.
But the next day, everyone was angry and felt cheated when they heard about Mu Yao’s sacrifice. Only Lu Huai An believed that he had done the best thing by sacrificing Mu Yao. If the Resentful Woman had died, the disaster wouldn’t have happened.
Liu Fu Yi, Zi Qi, Ling Miao Miao and Cui Cui decided to forcefully enter the tower to save her. Mu Yao was trapped in the most terrifying place in the tower, the Ninth Layer of the Demon Tower.
Cui Cui’s grandfather, the Bamboo Demon, questioned Lu Huai An. He used to be a good person, but what he did to Mu Yao could lead to the death of the rest of the group.
The four of them went down from the top of the tower to the bottom. Liu Fu Yi stayed at the eighth level because he couldn’t stand the backlash every time he opened a door. He held on because Mu Yao was the only person he loved on earth. Unable to go on, Liu Fu Yi entrusted Mu Yao to Zi Qi and Ling Miao Miao.
Inside the tower, the Resentful Woman absorbed Mu Yao’s life to continue living. Zi Qi and Ling Miao Miao didn’t have much time to save her. In the end, Mu Yao died after the Resentful Woman took all of her life.
The Resentful Woman unleashed her power and controlled all the demons, ordering them to attack Liu Fu Yi. Facing many demons, Liu Fu Yi was outnumbered. Although he was initially strong, this time Liu Fu Yi was severely injured. Liu Fu Yi lost his life while trying to save his wife.
After Ling Miao Miao and Zi Qi return to the past and defeat the Resentful Woman, Mu Yao and Liu Fu Yi come back to life. Although Ling Miao Miao’s explanation about the world in a book was beyond belief, they completely trusted Zi Qi and Ling Miao Miao.
So they supported Ling Miao Miao’s plan to build a ladder to heaven. Even though it seemed impossible to fix everything, Mu Yao and Liu Fu Yi believed that Zi Qi and Ling Miao Miao would do their best to solve the calamity.

Oh my goodness. The only thing on my mind during the last episode was why Zi Qi and Miao Miao didn’t use their power to climb the stairs. They looked so slow while the rest of the world had almost exhausted their power to help them.
I was literally yelling at them, telling them to move faster. Zi Qi is the most powerful man on earth. But he was the one who almost tripped and fell. And I didn’t really understand what happened after Zi Qi met Mu Qing Shi. What was the scroll that absorbed Zi Qi? I think this time I need someone to explain it to me. 😆😆
