What Happened to Wei Zhi and Shan Chong on Ski into Love Ending?
Wei Zhi was devastated after the breakup. She tried calling Shan Chong and sending messages, but he didn’t reply to any of them. She drank and cried her heart out, but it didn’t ease her pain. So, she threw herself into her work, becoming so busy that even Shan Shan grew concerned.
Meanwhile, Tiger Comics was struggling, as Wu Man Man’s work didn’t meet Wang Lao Hu’s expectations. It wasn’t long before Wang Lao Hu discovered that Ski into Love was Wei Zhi’s work of art. Determined to put a stop to it, he ordered Zhang Yu to demand that Wei Zhi cease the comic, threatening legal action if she refused.
Wang Lao Hu didn’t care about the stories his employees created. He only cared about the money they brought in. To protect his interests, he decided to stop Ski into Love by any means necessary. He resorted to framing Wei Zhi with fake statistics for the comic, hoping this would lead to a scandal that would tarnish her reputation.
Actually, Wei Zhi knew that the AI scandal was orchestrated by Zhang Yu. Yet, she took full responsibility because she understood that Zhang Yu had a family to support. Despite everything, she still had compassion for those around her, including Wu Man Man, who had once betrayed her.
Wei Zhi suspected that Wang Lao Hu had manipulated Wu Man Man, just like he had done to her in the past.
Wang Lao Hu thought that Wei Zhi would be like before and quietly accept the injustice. But this time, she didn’t remain silent. Wei Zhi consulted a lawyer, who assured her that the infringement was obvious. With enough evidence, he was confident they could win the case.
Shan Chong wanted to help Wei Zhi, but he couldn’t do so openly. So, he secretly investigated the fake statistics and sought Jiang Nan Feng’s help. With Shan Chong’s support, Wei Zhi gathered enough evidence to sue Wang Lao Hu for the fake statistics and contract infringement. She visited Tiger Comics with her lawyer and demanded the return of her copyrights and pen name.
Wang Lao Hu was planning to launch Tiger Comics’ IPO, unaware that Wei Zhi knew about the plan and would use it to threaten him. Still, he refused to back down.
Wei Zhi issued a public statement about her situation. Zhang Yu also came clean about the AI scandal, helping to clear Wei Zhi’s name and exposing Wang Lao Hu’s wrongdoings.
This led to Wang Lao Hu losing his job. But it didn’t end there. Many of his employees quit, and investors began pulling their funding from Tiger Comics. With one problem solved, Wei Zhi invited Wu Man Man to join her team, which she happily agreed to.
Wang Lao Hu was reported for fraud, and Ski into Love won first place in an international comic contest. Shan Chong watched Wei Zhi’s speech from home, feeling proud of her.
During the New Year’s dinner, Shan Chong told his family that he wanted to return to the team and compete again. To his surprise, his mother supported his decision. This time, they didn’t want him to live with regrets.
After their breakup, Wei Zhi and Shan Chong kept their feelings hidden from others, but it was clear to those who were paying attention. During a phone call, Shan Shan reassured Wei Zhi that Shan Chong hadn’t run away. He had just taken a step back to give them both some space so he could return stronger.
Two people were especially happy about Shan Chong’s decision to return to the national team: Coach Wang and Dai Duo. The coach was moved when he saw Shan Chong wearing the team jacket. He knew that if Shan Chong waited any longer, he might have to retire.
Shan Chong resumed his daily training, finding it tiring but enjoyable. There were only 347 days left until the Big Air World Cup.
Shan Chong’s training improved, but he faced both physical and emotional challenges. Though Shan Chong and Wei Zhi were both working toward their dreams, they were weighed down by the absence of the other.
Despite not meeting for a long time, they kept up with each other’s news. Soon, they would have the chance to meet when Wei Zhi was invited to a tourism and culture forum in Xicheng, which included a trip to the National Training Centre.
Although Wei Zhi missed Shan Chong a lot, she felt anxious and didn’t know what to say when they met. Shan Chong felt the same. When he learned that Wei Zhi might be in Xicheng, he immediately confirmed with Shan Shan, but he lacked the courage to call Wei Zhi.
Eventually, Wei Zhi and Shan Chong met at the training center. It was an awkward encounter filled with small talk. It was clear that they both longed for each other, but their meeting was short. Wei Zhi regretted not saying more, and Shan Chong felt the same. Just as he was about to approach her, she was already speaking with another athlete.
Before the visit ended, Wei Zhi learned that a member of the Big Air team had been injured. She panicked and rushed to the hospital, fearing it was Shan Chong. Thankfully, it wasn’t him.
Shan Chong was stunned to see Wei Zhi, with red eyes, in front of the injured athlete’s ward. When she turned around, Shan Chong stopped her and accompanied her back to the hotel. They didn’t speak their hearts, and after another round of small talk, they parted ways.
However, Shan Chong left her an eye drop because her eyes were red. When Wei Zhi received it from the hotel staff, she immediately ran to find him, but he was nowhere to be seen. She crouched down in despair.
Then, a pair of long legs stopped in front of her. It was Shan Chong, carrying a bucket of white roses. He finally confessed that he missed her. He had left because he didn’t want her to feel torn between him and her parents. He wanted her to have everyone’s blessings.
But Shan Chong was stunned when Wei Zhi told him that, even with everyone’s blessings, she wouldn’t be happy unless he was by her side. They resolved their misunderstanding and got back together that night, with many kisses and tears.
After his training, Shan Chong visited Wei Zhi in Nancheng. Before meeting her, he spoke with her father to prove his commitment. He showed Mr. Wei his bank statement and explained his future plans after retirement.
Shan Chong expressed his fear of losing Wei Zhi and assured Mr. Wei that he would work hard for her happiness. Mr. Wei, understanding how much Shan Chong meant to his daughter, gave his blessing, knowing that Wei Zhi had been unhappy since their breakup. The meeting was a success, and Shan Chong received both of Wei Zhi’s parents’ blessings.
Shan Chong competed in the 2025-2026 Snowboard Championship Big Air World Cup. He and Dai Duo were the two Chinese athletes in the final. Shan Chong aimed for the gold, hoping to represent China in the Winter Olympics. His biggest competitor was the Russian athlete, John Huston (Dear author, are you sure he’s from Russia? 😁).
Wei Zhi, Lao Yan, Shan Shan, and their friends watched from the sidelines, while Wei Zhi’s parents eagerly watched from home. Everyone’s heart raced as Shan Chong performed a difficult snowboard trick. Wei Zhi firmly believed he would succeed. After a tense moment, Shan Chong defeated John Huston due to his longer airtime, winning the gold medal, while Dai Duo placed third.
A month after the championship, Wei Zhi, Shan Chong, and their friends returned to Beishan Resort. Shan Chong was overjoyed because Wei Zhi’s mother had finally accepted him as her daughter’s boyfriend. Shan Chong planned to propose to Wei Zhi with Hua Yan’s help, but Beici unintentionally sabotaged the plan. So, Shan Chong tried again in a restaurant, but someone else was also proposing there. 😂
Another plan was devised, but it also failed.
Then, Jiang Nan Feng’s words struck him: the most important thing in a proposal is sincerity. The next day, they all went to the slope. The next day, they went to the slope, and in front of a breathtaking view, Shan Chong knelt down and asked Wei Zhi to marry him. No flowers, no balloons. There’s only sincere love. Wei Zhi, seeing the man she loved kneel before her, couldn’t hold back her tears and immediately said, “Yes.”
At the ending, Wei Zhi and Shan Chong’s married life was later depicted in a comic. They lived happily and harmoniously, blessed with a daughter named Shan Xun Yue.
What Happened to Lao Yan and Jiang Nan Feng on Ski into Love Ending?
Lao Yan realized that although he loved snowboarding very much, he didn’t have the talent to survive in the competitive world. He may have been a good coach, but it wouldn’t take him anywhere.
When he shared his plan to retiring to his friends, Lao Yan also told them that he had once been overweight. It was snowboarding that helped him get back in shape and regain his confidence. Snowboarding also sparked dreams in Lao Yan. He asked his family for a few years to chase those dreams.
But reality was harsh, and Lao Yan wasn’t a person without conscience. Although he was grateful for his experiences and the friends he made in Beishan, Lao Yan knew that he should return to Nancheng and lead an ordinary life. His friends showed him their full support.
The next day, Lao Yan left the resort. He didn’t want anyone to send him off because it would make him very sad. He specifically told Beici the husky that he didn’t want any hugs. 😂
Lao Yan began his job search, and one of his resumes landed on a place he never expected: Jiang Nan Feng’s desk. At first, she didn’t recognize his name because he had used his real name, Zhao Ke Yan. It didn’t take long before Lao Yan was hired as an employee.
Jiang Nan Feng felt that they should have met earlier than in Beishan. Some memories returned, but it involved an overweight and shy guy, completely different from Lao Yan now.
Back then, Jiang Nan Feng had been rude to Lao Yan. And for the first time in her life, Jiang Nan Feng didn’t know how to face him when the memories of the past came back to her. Lao Yan’s magnanimous heart made her see him in a different light, and she wanted to make it up to him.
On the other hand, Lao Yan considered quitting his job, but his friend stopped him, reminding him that a job was still a job, and he just needed to work hard.
Lao Yan and Jiang Nan Feng lived their working days harmoniously. In fact, Jiang Nan Feng was very impressed by Lao Yan’s ability. She often brought him along to meet clients. Jiang Nan Feng tried hard to help him, but Lao Yan felt burdened because now that the truth had been revealed, he was confused about their relationship and his own feelings.
Lao Yan decided to resign, which shocked Jiang Nan Feng. He decided to come clean about his feelings. When they first met in Beishan, Lao Yan had acted confidently because she didn’t know his past and they could be considered as strangers. But now, he couldn’t continue pretending to be a stranger.
To him, Jiang Nan Feng was like a moon he could never reach. Yet, suddenly, she was always around him, and it felt strange. Only then did Jiang Nan Feng realize that Lao Yan’s feelings for her were deep, and if he left, she would feel upset.
In the end, Jiang Nan Feng and Lao Yan met again a month after the Big Air championship. They were there for Shan Chong’s proposal. But when looking into each other’s eyes, full of yearning, it was clear they would be together soon after.
What Happened to Shan Shan and Dai Duo on Ski into Love Ending?
With the help of Jiang Yi Ming, the company in Germany finally processed Shan Shan’s prosthetic order. She only had to wait a little longer before it arrived. Just before the New Year, the prosthetics were delivered.
Shan Shan was eager to try them on, and the whole family eagerly watched in anticipation. When she took her first step, the entire family burst into tears of joy. They weren’t the only ones moved. Dai Duo also shed tears when she showed him her new legs. He told her to wait for him to come back, so they could do all the things they had once missed.
Dai Duo kept his promise. He took Shan Shan to the arcade, and they spent the day trying out various games. Despite the fun, Dai Duo couldn’t help but worry if Shan Shan still had any regrets about snowboarding. On the ending, He felt a sense of relief when Shan Shan reassured him that she was truly happy with her life at that moment.
My Musing
I still feel like everything was rushed toward the end. I really feel bad for Zhang Yu. He’s a good person, but Wang Lao Hu treats him so badly. I really think his story deserved more focus.
I also think Lao Yan and Jiang Nan Feng’s story needed more depth. I wanted them to be together, but at the same time, I knew they were just too far apart. There’s so much internal conflict in their relationship.
Lao Yan’s emotional nature clashes with Jiang Nan Feng’s rationality, and that creates distance between them. But that’s what makes their potential relationship so interesting. Lao Yan needs to learn patience and control, while Jiang Nan Feng might have to embrace more emotion and vulnerability.
It wouldn’t be easy, but if they truly care about each other, I believe they could find a way to make it work.
Dai Duo and Shan Shan, though, are such a refreshing couple. They’re young, but they show more maturity than many of the older characters.
They handle challenges so well and support each other in a way that stands out. They really seem to understand what matters the most: love, support, and growing together. I really adore them…😍
