Hello dear readers! April is finally here. We have been wondering what this month has in store for us. After we gave you list of Chinese dramas released in March 2024, we were hoping that April 2024 would bring us more fascinating new Chinese dramas. We still waiting for Yang Mi’s Fox Spirit Match Maker: Red-Moon Pact to be released. Hopefully, it will happen this month. In the meantime, let’s take a look at what this month has brought us.

This is another series from the Chinese Paladin franchise. Last January, we had two Chinese Paladin drama adaptations, Sword and Fairy 6 (starring Xu Kai and Xu Yu Shin) and Sword and Fairy 4 (starring Chen Zhe Yuan and Ju Jing Yi).
The current drama is the first season. There is no need to watch these dramas in order because all the stories were independent. So, just treat them as totally different dramas with the same title.
Li Xiao Yao always dreamed of being a hero like his parents. So they set out to roam the world and left him under the care of Mrs. Li, an innkeeper. Li Xiao Yao accidentally met Zhao Ling Er, a descendant of the goddess Nuwa, who created 5 pearls and scattered them around the world to suppress beasts.
Now, Li Xiao and Zhao Ling Er embarked on a journey to find the Water Spiritual Bead that could stop the drought and end the suffering of all beings. Along the way, they also come across Lin Yue Ru and Liu Jin Yuan. Now the four of them will have to face numerous dangers and eventually face the Moon Worship Sect that aims to destroy the world.

To the Wonder has been announced as part of the 2024 Official Selection for Long Form Competition by Canneseries (The Cannes International Series Festival), making it the first Cdrama series to compete in this festival.
The drama is an adaptation of the award-winning essay collection My Altay by Li Juan, a renowned Chinese writer. The cast included top-notch actors, such as Ma Yi Li, who won the Best Actress Award at the 2018 Shanghai Magnolia Awards, the most prestigious TV awards in China. With so many exciting facts like this, we are determined not to miss this one.
Li Wen Xiu grew up in a small town in Altay. She had a big dream and was determined to pursue it. However, it was not easy as she faced many challenges. In the end, she was forced to return to her hometown where she relies on her mother’s provision store for a living. While in her hometown, Li Wen Xiu met Batay, a Kazakh boy, and followed a nomadic Kazakh family into the pastoral area.
