The Double is a promising new Chinese drama in June 2024. It stars Wu Jin Yan (Story of Yanxi Palace, Royal Feast), Wang Xing Yue (Amids a Snowstorm of Love, Story of Kunning Palace, Scent of Time, Delicacies Destiny), and Chen Xin Hai (Falling Before Fireworks, The Love You Gave Me). We’ve already watched it, and this drama truly fascinates us.
The Double tells us the story of Xue Fang Fei, who lost everything she had after a great upheaval. Fate brought her to Jiang Li, the abandoned Second Miss of the Prime Minister family. Unfortunately, Jiang Li did not have a long life. After she died, Xue Fang Fei took her identity and became Jiang Li. Family dramas often have a strong message. Mostly you will get the message after you cry a bucket of tears or after an emotional roller coaster ride. And this Chinese drama release in June 2024, Just In Time is no exception.
Middle-aged Xu Men Gan thought her life was sailing smoothly. But everything went wrong. Her company laid off many employees, she was blocked from promotion, her husband lost his job, her daughter was involved in puppy love, and she had a second child. All these problems drained her.
But as a woman, mother, and wife, Xu Men Gan had to face the ordeals. She had to find the motivation to start again. meanwhile, Chen Wan Zhen, a full-time housewife, was ignored by her husband. She decided to return to be a career woman to deal with the agony.

It seemed that there were more dramas with short episodes in the Cdramaland. We just noticed it after we watched To The Wonder and Regeneration (you can read the review here, To The Wonder drama review and Regeneration drama review). Compared to the usual 40 episodes, 16 episodes seemed short. But we would not complain. Shorter drama means less time binge-watching and MORE dramas to look forward to. Let’s just hope that these 16 episodes did not cut all the fun.
This new drama release in June 2024, Lost in the Shadow was set in the 1990s. Three teenagers disappeared during a stormy night. One was found dead, and the other two went missing. Three years later, one of the missing teenagers reappeared with amnesia. He did not have any memories of what happened to him and later the boy was returned to his family.
An old policeman secretly investigated the case and discovered secrets related to the murder and human trafficking. What is happening? Did the family hide a secret? Could the policeman reveal the secrets?
