Episode Recap

Episode 12

Changheng had been restless and distracted since the meeting with Lord Yunzhong. The God of War must be thinking about the little orchid fairy who was taken away by the demon lord.

Qingchuan reported that Lord Yunzhong’s spies were still lurking at Fountain Palace and keeping tabs on Changheng. The surveillance made Changheng frustrated because he could not do anything to help Xiao Lan Hua.

Qingchuan advised his master to stay at home to avoid Lord Yunzhong’s suspicion because the Lord suspect Changheng’s relationship with Xiao Lan Hua. Qingchuan also stated that he believed that Xiao Lan Hua was a spy of the Moon Tribe. Changheng snapped at Qingchuan.He was angry every time someone said that Xiao Lan Hua was a spy.

Danyin who eavesdropped on the conversation declared that she never believed Xiao Lan Hua was a spy. According to Danyin, Xiao Lan Hua was a timid but kind person. Xiao Lan Hua saved her life without caring about their past resentment. If Changheng had a way to help Xiao Lan Hua, Danyin was willing to take part to help.

At the Silent Moon Palace, it was dinner time and Xiao Lan Hua was worried about the menu. She checked the food carefully afraid that Dongfang Qingcang’s menu was a bloody living thing… 😅

But surprisingly, the food was like a gourmet meal. They were beautiful and appetizing, completely different from her imagination. Xiao Lan Hua started to feast on the food. Dongfang Qingcang, who was standing by her side with a sour face, was angry because Xiao Lan Hua acted recklessly. If Xiao Lan Hua made mistakes, their life was at stake.

They had a dispute at the table when Shang Que reported that Dongfang Xunfeng and the Kings of Southern and Northern Youxian county request an audience. Xiao Lan Hua hesitated to go. However, he had no choice but to meet them. Dongfang Qingcang followed her, he must take precautions just in case Xiao Lan Hua accidentally blew their cover.

Meanwhile, in the Fountain Palace, Changheng asked Danyin to disguise as himself to deceive Lord Yunzhong’s spies. Danyin agreed to his request. Changheng cast a spell to make him look like Danyin, while Danyin looks like him.

Well, another scene of switched bodies…😅

Changheng bid farewell and express his gratitude. While Danyin, who was disguised as Changheng, sniffed at his robe and touched his hair happily…😂

At the Silent Moon Palace, everybody was shocked to see Xiao Lan Hua walking beside the Moon Supreme. The Kings of Southern and Northern Youxian County protested that she should not join an important state meeting. Xiao Lan Hua (actually it was Dongfang Qingcang who looked at them coldly) only say a few words “Did you question the Lord?”. Those Kings immediately shut their mouths and stopped the protests.

Dongfang Xunfeng and the Kings have come to discuss their plan to attack Shuiyuntian. Xiao Lan Hua who sat on the throne was shocked when she learned the plan. She pouts her mouth and stares at Dongfang Qingcang begrudgingly. Everybody saw the Moon Supreme’s strange behavior, except Dongfang Qingcang. Xiao Lan Hua could not contain her anger when she heard that they would destroy everything in Shuiyuntian and would not spare a single grass. Xiao Lan Hua took the plan and burned them.

She stated that Dongfang Qingcang recently had been reflecting on his sin of killing his father. Therefore, he decided to stop killing and keep a low profile. Dongfang Xunfeng look at him and said that the guilt was too late. She told them to leave afterward.

Everybody present was shocked. They all saw their cold and ruthless Moon Supreme talking about guilt and peace. It appeared that Dongfang Xunfeng and the Kings started to be suspicious of the strange behavior of Dongfang Qingcang.

Weeeelllll… It was obvious, wasn’t it? Xiao Lan Hua didn’t even try to conceal the fact that she was not Dongfang Qingcang. Did she ever fear losing her life? Oh boy… I was so angry over her foolishness…🤬

Dongfang Qingcang took a bath and Xiao Lan Hua served him. He got his eyes covered because Xiao Lan Hua didn’t want him to see her body. The little orchid asked Dongfang Qingcang why Dongfang Xunfeng did not have a title of a king while the Kings of Youxian County had one. Dongfang Qingcang explained that many years ago, his grandfather agreed to confer a title to the Kings of Southern and Northern Youxian County. Dongfang QIngcang’s grandfather did it to prevent civil unrest.

However, around 30,000 years ago, the Kings of Southern and Northern Youxian County tried to rebel. However, Dongfang Qingcang was able to suppress them. Right now, Dongfang Qingcang still let them live because he wanted to catch the mole in the Silent Moon Palace.

Back in the Shuiyuntian, Danyin was sitting and enjoying her time at Fountain Palace. Suddenly Li Yuan came, and she almost called him “Daddy!”, but managed to dodge her mistake. Li Yuan came and talk about Dongfang Qingcang and Xiao Lan Hua. Danyin told him her suspicion that Xiao Lan Hua might be a descendant of the Xilan clan. But Li Yuan said that it was impossible. Danyin had this suspicion because she linked it to the image of Changheng’s wedding that she saw in the Tianji Mirror. When they talk, someone suddenly came. It was Rong Hao.

Danyin was anxious because Rong Hao was the only person who was really close to Changheng, and he likely could see the difference between her and the real Changheng. Therefore, she told Rong Hao to leave. However, that was the point when Rong Hao started to be suspicious of her.

It only take a tad of time and a few questions before Rong Hao broke the spell and saw her true self. Rong hao was surprised to see Danyin and asked where was Changheng. Danyin asked him to keep it a secret from Lord Yunzhong that Changheng went to the Cangyan Sea to help Xiao Lan Hua.

Meanwhile, at the Cangyan Sea, Dongfang Xunfeng tried to prove his suspicion and sent a spy to keep tabs on Dongfang Qingcang. Who would have known that the spy would see when Dongfang Qingcang serves Xiao Lan Hua in the bath. That was something unbelievable, even for Dongfang Xunfeng. The spy also reported that Dongfang Qingcang sleeps and eats with the little fairy. Dongfang Xunfeng confirms his suspicion. Dongfang Qingcang used to grow up alone. He has never been too intimate with others because of his suspicious nature.

Dongfang Xunfeng requests a duel with Dongfang Qingcang. He wanted to test whether Dongfang Qingcang who sat on the throne was real or not.

Dongfang Xunfeng saw the little fairy wanted to interfere with his business with the Moon Supreme. He scolded the little fairy angrily and told her to leave. The little fairy left the hall with a pouting mouth.

Before he goes, Dongfang Qingcang gives Xiao Lan Hua a hint. He told her to use Shang Que as a replacement. Therefore, Xiao Lan Hua ordered Shang Que to practice with Dongfang Xunfeng. But her effort was in vain because Xunfeng knew exactly that Dongfang Qingcang he saw was fake.

That night, Rong Hao had another meeting with Dongfang Xunfeng. He gave Dongfang Xunfeng an evil spirit as a weapon to kill Dongfang Qingcang. They strike a deal to help each other.

Dongfang Qingcang and Xiao Lan Hua were looking at the sky, waiting for a thunderstorm. Xiao Lan Hua asked him whether he would lock her up again after they switch back. Dongfang Qingcang reassure her that if she obey him, he would not hinder her. However, when Xiao Lan Hua begged that she wanted t go back to Shuiyuntian, the Moon Supreme stated that as long as she was alive, she must stay in the Cangyan Sea. The thunderstorm and lightning that they were waiting for finally appear. They went to the Dark Pine Forest. Dongfang Qingcang took something from the drawer.

Unbekstoknown them, Changheng arrived at the Silent Moon Palace. He was looking for Xiao Lan Hua.

Dongfang Qingcang and Xiao Lan Hua met Rong Hao and Die Yi. The little orchid acted bravely by shielding the Moon Supreme and threatening Rong Hao and Die Yi. However, apparently, Rong Hao already figures out about the body swap.

Rong Hao released his evil spirit to attack them. Dongfang Qingcang, with his Xiao Lan Hua appearance, step forward to shield the little orchid when Changheng came and block the attack. He wanted to shield Xiao Lan Hua from the attack. Unfortunately, the evil spirit was really dangerous. Changheng got injured badly because of it.

Xiao Lan Hua was frantic to see Changheng get injured. She run toward him, and Dongfang Qingcang throw a pebble that opened a magic door for her. Xiao Lan Hua was transported into another part of the forest.

Die Yi warned Rong Hao to kill Changheng. However, Rong Hao told her that their priority was to chase the fairy. They left afterward.

Changheng immediately went to Xiao Lan Hua. He told her that he came to take her home. Changheng touched Xiao Lan Hua’s cheek. His eyes were full of yearning.

Episode 13

Changheng touched the face that he had been yearning for a long time. The little orchid observed him closely before she bit his hand. Changheng’s shocked because of her response.

Meanwhile, the panic-stricken Xiao Lan Hua (still inside Dongfang Qingcang’s body) was running around in the forest, calling for her beloved one, Lord Changheng. Suddenly Dongfang Qingcang (he was still inside Xiao Lan Hua’s body) appeared and scolded her. Xiao Lan Hua wanted to find Changheng and helped him. However, Dongfang Qingcang reminded Xiao Lan Hua that she still used his body. Therefore, if Changheng saw her, he might kill her on the spot because he thought it was Dongfang Qingcang who came to him.

Dongfang Qingcang said they should switch back. But Xiao Lan Hua refused because she was afraid Dongfang Qingcang would kill Changheng if he regained his power.

Meanwhile, the said Changheng wandered around the forest and tried to find Xiao Lan Hua. Changheng’s condition was not good. Changheng had not recovered from the injuries when he fought Dongfang Qingcang, and now the evil spirit eroded his body.

Dongfang Qingcang ordered Xiao Lan Hua to hide. Hesitantly she agreed and hid behind the tree while Dongfang Qingcang stepped forward to meet Changheng.

Changheng told Xiao Lan Hua that he would take her back to Shuiyuantian and protect her. But this Xiao Lan Hua was so cold to him and refused him. The little orchid said that she was happy living a good life in the Cangyan Sea where nobody bullied her. She also asked Changheng what would he do to clear her name and save her from the punishment of Lord Yunzhong. And how would he handle other fairies that hurt or blame her.

Meanwhile, behind the tree…

Changheng was unable to answer her questions directly because he did not dare to disobey the rules of Shuiyuntian or his brother. The little orchid told Changheng that the Moon Supreme Lord was able and willing to protect her. Changheng was surprised when he heard Xiao Lan Hua referred Dongfang Qingcang as Moon Supreme Lord.

In the meantime, Dongfang Xunfeng charged into the Silent Moon Palace to revolt. He killed many people inside the palace using the evil spirit given by Rong Hao.

The real Xiao Lan Hua contemplates Dongfang Qingcang’s words. She was sad when she realized that Dongfang Qingcang could protect her more than Changheng did. Changheng heard a noise from her direction and threw a shot. The shot was held back by Rong Hao who suddenly appeared. Rong Hao said that he could not be at ease when he learned that Changheng went to the Cangyan Sea alone.

Rong Hao stretched his hand to the real Xiao Lan Hua. She hesitated to take it. Rong Hao explained that Dongfang Qingcang was the real Xiao Lan Hua, while the real Dongfang Qingcang was standing still with a sword on his neck.

Changheng wanted to help her break the spell and helped her back to her body. But Xiao Lan Hua refuse because if they switched back, Dongfang Qingcang would regain his power back. Rong Hao agreed with her statement. Moreover, Xiao Lan Hua was grateful he would risk his life to save her. However, she could not drag him down and told Changheng to leave. Changheng had an idea to extract her spirit and then use the self-renewing soil to give her a new body. Rong Hao agreed to his idea because they would be able to seal Dongfang Qngcang on Xiao Lan Hua’s old body. Therefore, they could kill him and Dongfang Qingcang would forever vanish from the realm.

Xiao Lan Hua look at Dongfang Qingcang. She did not want to see him gone. When Rong Hao prepared to kill him, lightning appeared. Xiao Lan Hua rushed to Dongfang Qingcang and kissed him. The lightning stroke them. The blue and green flame flashed around them. Rong Hao panicked because they switched back. Changheng was angry because of the kiss.

I knew that I should put the picture where Dongfang Qingcang and Xiao Lan Hua kissed. But, they had enough kissing pictures on my post. I demanded more Rong Hao scenes! 😍

Dongfang Qingcang called the hellfire that throw Changheng into the ground. He barely could stand because he lost a significant amount of his power. Xiao Lan Hua begged Dongfang Qingcang to not hurt Changheng. Dongfang Qingcang complied with her request. But then he forcefully kissed Xiao Lan Hua in front of Changheng. Dongfang Qingcang wanted to show Changheng that the little orchid was his to begin with. Changheng who was injured wanted to charge at him but Rong Hao took him away.

Xiao Lan Hua was angry because of the kiss. Dongfang Qingcang was confused.

Shang Que frantically ran to report that Dongfang Xunfeng was revolting. He was awaiting Dongfang Qingcang’s order to command the troop. Dongfang Qingcang refused the idea because he alone could handle the problem.

Dongfang Xunfeng sat on the throne when Dongfang Qingcang came. He was alarmed when he realized that Dongfang Qingcang had returned. Only with a few movements, Dongfang Qingcang could bring his brother down. Dongfang Xunfeng did not have a chance to use the evil spirit on him.

Changheng condition worsened. Rong Hao was worried and took him to Fountain Palace. But unfortunately, they did not have the immortal pills to cure him. Danyin wanted to ask for the pill from her father, Li Yuan. However, Rong Hao forbid her, he feared that it would alarm the Emperor. Rong Hao could only use half of his cultivation to support Changheng’s body who was badly damaged. Two strands of Rong Hao’s hair turned grey and his face was pale.

Meanwhile, Dongfang Qingcang picked up the evil spirit. Shang Que reported that the revolt was a conspiracy between Dongfang Xunfeng and the Lord of Haishi city. Dongfang Qingcang wondered why the Lord of Haishi city wanted to kill him and for what reason the Lord keep the primordial spirit and the Destiny book of Chidi Nüzi.

The Moon Supreme questioned why Shang Que did not kill him when he realize that he lost his power. Shang Que reassured Dongfang Qingcang that he would not betray his master because, for him, Dongfang Qingcang was the most important person. Dongfang Qingcang remembered his conversation with Xiao Lan Hua. She said that Shang Que was a friend of his and he would not betray him. Dongfang Qingcang did not know that because he could not understand human emotions.

Die Yi tried to help the weak Rong Hao but she was refused. Rong Hao said that he help Changheng because he still need him to deal with the Cangyan Sea.

Well, I don’t think so. I am sure that Rong Hao helped Changheng because he cared for him. He also felt guilty because the evil spirit that hurt Changheng was from him.

Die Yi asked him whether they should kill Xunfeng. But Rong Hao said that they did not have to deal with him because Dongfang Qingcang was a cruel person and he will deal with him.

Back in the Shuiyuntian, Changheng woke up and ordered Danyin to bring him his armor. Danyin refused his order. She explained that Rong Hao had given him half of his cultivation. Changheng was touched but it did not stop him from his intention to attack Dongfang Qingcang. When he stepped out the door, three fairies appeared. They told him that Lord Yunzhong summoned him.

The Emperor had waited for him with an unsightly face. He already knew that Changheng secretly went to the Cangyan Sea. Rong Hao and Danyin appeared to defend him in front of the Emperor. Danyin told the Emperor that it was her idea to switch bodies. The Emperor was angry but he could not punish them. He just cast a spell to seal Changheng’s power.

Xiao Lan Hua sat alone in her Cangyan Sea’s Arbiter Hall. She regretted her decision to let go of an opportunity to leave the Cangyan Sea. She also helped Dongfang Qingcang in front of Changheng. She realized that her action made her a traitor to Shuiyuntian. She would have nowhere to go anymore.

Shang Que reported her activities to his lord. Dongfang Qingcang asked why Shang Que changed the way he addressed Xiao Lan Hua. Shang Que told Dongfang Qingcang he used to address Xiao Lan Hua as Fairy Orchid because the palace maids also addressed her as that. The palace maids saw Xiao Lan Hua stand up and saved Dongfang Qingcang during Dongfang Xunfeng’s rebellion. As a gratitude for saving their Lord, the palace maids now called Xiao Lan Hua as Fairy Orchid. Shang Que also said that the palace maids wanted to arrange a banquet for Xiao Lan Hua if Dongfang Qingcang allow it.

Dongfang Qingcang told Shang Que that Xiao Lan Hua’s restraining order was lifted. But not only that, Xiao Lan Hua now could free to roam around the Silent Moon Palace and the Cangyan Sea. Nobody was allowed to stop, be rude, or hurt her. Otherwise, they would be killed without mercy.

Shang Que expressed his concern that Xiao Lan Hua might want to run away again. But Dongfang Qingcang did not worry at all. Xiao Lan Hua had openly helped him in front of Changheng, which was equal to betraying Shuiyuntian. Therefore, Xiao Lan Hua would have nowhere to go besides the Cangyan Sea. Shang Que praised his Lord for being a brilliant person. He also mentioned that since Xiao Lan Hua has given up the opportunity to run away and save him, it showed something.. Dongfang Qingcang look at him full of anticipation.

Dongfang Qingcang walked into the forest that night. He saw the palace maid dressing up Xiao Lan Hua in the Moon Tribe attire. They praised her for being gorgeous. Dongfang Qingcang use his power to make the tree shake and showered them with petals. Xiao Lan Hua and the palace maids were very happy. He secretly take off his You jade ring so he could feel her happiness. Dongfang Qingcang smiled while Xiao Lan Hua happily dance under the petal shower.
